The story of Miss Kobayashis Dragon Maid revolves around our protagonist Kobayashi, a regular woman who works as a programmer, getting ready to leave for work.
The moment she opens her door to leave for her office, a huge dragon is waiting on her porch just outside her main door, which catches her by surprise.
It is not every day a huge dragon just sits outside your house, but the dragon changes its form to appear as a cute girl wearing a dress of a maid and revealing her name to be Tohru.
After a bit of discussion with Tohru, she recalls that while not being in her senses as she was drunk, she crossed paths with this dragon on the mountains a night before who has a home in some other world.
Kobayashi then proceeds to pull out a sword stuck in Tohru’s spine to win her trust and respect. And now with Tohru not having a place of her own to stay, Kobayashi invites her to live with her as a maid, and she starts developing feelings for Kobayashi.
Even though Tohru is an excellent maid for Kobayashi, sometimes Tohru frightens her with her weird nature which causes her trouble that she never asked for. With Tohru living in Kobayashis house, it often unintentionally attracts the attention of various dragons and other creatures who knock at Kobayashis door.
One day, a dragon by the name of Kanna also comes to Kobayashis house explaining to her why Tohru needs to go back to the world she came from as she was banished from there, and Kobayashi ends up taking Tohru in.
With Kobayashi living with Kanna and Tohru, she starts to feel like they are now her new family, a family she never asked for but very much needed.
What Happened at the End of Miss Kobayashis Dragon Maid Season 2?
The finale of Season 2 of Miss Kobayashis Dragon Maid aired back in January of 2022 and was titled Japanese Hospitality. In the final episode of the second season of the anime, we were able to see Kanna meeting her long-time friend from New York who has now arrived in Tokyo to enjoy a vacation.
They even visit Akihabara together to play VR games and try different famous street foods. Chloe then spends a regular day with Kanna and Riko and ends the day with fireworks on the roof of the apartment where Kobayashi lives.
