The ending of season 3 of Kuroko left the fans salty as they wanted to watch a fourth season of the anime as well. They were blessed enough to get a movie a few years after the third season, but there was no sign of a Kuroko no Basket Season 4 anywhere.

After trying to find out the whereabouts of season 4, the fans were unable to find any relevant information on the matter.

Unfortunately, we came with the same news as we too wanted to see where has the anime been after the end of season 3 and we found nothing. Apparently, season 3 of Kuroko no Basket was meant to be the final season of the anime, and after that, there were no plans to continue the anime in the future.

So, the fans who are still thinking about getting a new season of Kuroko no Basket even in 2024 after the final season aired in 2015, we think it is time to drop the dream as it is clearly not going to happen.

Kuroko no basket Season 3 English Dub Release Date?

Fans who are not comfortable reading the subtitles and are not fluent in Japanese can instead enjoy the anime with an English dub.

The English dub of Kuroko no Basket is available to use on Netflix already, so there is no need to discuss the release date of the dub as you can just go and access it from Netflix since it came out almost 10 years ago at this point.

Kuroko no Basket Season 4 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?

In Japan, the Teiko Middle School Basketball team was truly the best and they even achieved the impossible by winning the nationals for three years straight. The best players on the team were given the title of Generation of Miracles and after finishing middle school, the best players got separated as everyone went to different schools.

Kuroko no Basket Season 4 plot

However, news soon started circulating about a new player who had stepped into the Generation of Miracles.

This unknown personality is a new student at Seirin High, a place with a powerful basketball team but not as popular as one might believe. Taiga Kagami is a player born with skills while Tetsuya Kuroko is the latest addition to the Generation of Miracles.

These two have spent their childhood together in the United States and their goal is to carry Seirin to the top of the mountain by bringing back the previous teammates of Kuroko one after the other. The anime focuses on Seirin becoming the leading school of Basketball in Japan with the help of Generation of Miracles.

While Seirin was able to beat Shutoku after a tough battle on the court, it was only a matter of time before they lost their winning streak to Touhou Academy who had the best player from Generation of Miracles on their team.

After losing to Touhou Academy, they also lost to Senshinkan and Meisei which meant they were thrown out of the tournament by the other teams. But all hope is not lost for Seirin as Kiyoshi Teppei arrived to save the team from losing any more matches than they already had.

Seirin used their summer to not waste time and train for their future tournament instead which was set to take place in winter.

In the early stages of the tournament, Seirin went face to face against Shutoku and after a tough battle, the match ended in a tie which meant that Seirin was not forced to beat Kirisaki Daichi if they wanted to proceed further in the tournament.

After a battle against them, Seirin reigned supreme and even ended up winning the chance to participate in the Winter Cup.

What Happened at the End of Kuroko no Basket Season 3?

After playing a tough match, Seirin comes out on top and wins the winter cup because of their hard work and determination. Akashi lost for the first time ever in his life and he struggles to accept his loss but he acknowledges the win that Seirin got and congratulates the team while crying.

With everyone happy and a big win for Seirin, Kuroko soon finds a photograph of all the members of Generation of Miracles together.

What Can We Expect from Kuroko no Basket Season 4?

With the hopes of season 4 out of the picture for Kuroko no Basket, the fans can now drop the idea of the storyline that could have happened as well.

Since the anime series officially ended back in 2015 with just a follow-up movie a few years later, there were not any plans to continue the anime beyond season 3 which means there is no possible storyline or spoilers to follow.

The 9 years of wait on different forums resulted in fictional fan theories and fake leaks which the fans found comforting thinking something might be true; however, we are here to say that it is time to move on to something new and let the legacy of Kuroko no Basket rest in peace as one of the greatest anime of all time.
