Massive or enormous weapons have always been a hallmark of Souls video games. In Elden Ring, weapons are an integral aspect of practically every character build, whether of whether you’re focused on doing tremendous damage with strong blows or prefer dual-wielding swift blades. They serve as the main point for any player attempting to traverse the Lands Between with as few deaths as possible, but not all of them are created equal.
Elden Ring is no different, and with its towering foes and humongous, arrogant demigods, some of these ultra-weapons are nearly required to keep these Elden gods’ egos in check. However, wielding these enormous weapons is neither straightforward nor easy.
Within Elden Ring, there are so many weapons to gather and experiment with. It’s fairly daunting to obtain one of each card kind, but the possibility of constructing unique decks increases the replayability. It also appeals to all the regular sub-genres of games of this type. Some people want to wield magic and attack quickly, like warriors with katanas, while others want to deliver significant harm with slow, heavy blows. Here are some of the strongest weapons for the Strength stat in Elden Ring. Strength is the only stat that can deal significant damage, thus these are the best weapons for that stat.
10) Giant-Crusher
In comparison to the popular Greatsword, the Giant-Crusher deals more significant damage at maximum upgrades and the same suffix. However, it has a shorter range and resembles a cinderblock attached to a pipe. However, if the damage is the only factor for a Strength-based build, this item is superior.
Giant-Crusher is now more potent due to the reduction of its weapon swing speed and recovery time. It was already rather nice before the 1.04 patch, but it is now far better. Combined with Ashes of War items such as Lion’s Claw or Royal Knights’ Resolve, this item will flatten any foe.
Unlocking & Requirements –
Unlocking this weapon is really simple. This item is located in a chest right south of the Outer Wall Phantom Tree site of grace. The stats required to wield this weapon is solely 60 strength.
Weapon Skill –
Endure is the weapon skill of the Giant Crusher. This places your character in an anchoring stance to defend against opponent strikes and temporarily increase poise. Damage taken is also lessened when Endure is active. The cost in FP to cast Endure is 9. Additionally, you can imbue your own Ashes of war with this weapon to better suit your play style.

9) Fallingstar Beast Jaw
The Fallingstar Beat Jaw was one of those Colossal weapons that were perpetually on the verge of being helpful but could usually be replaced by slightly superior alternatives. Now, though, it’s easier than ever to understand Fallingstar’s Gravity Bolt Weapon Skill’s versatility (which basically allows you to summon a series of lightning strikes that crash down upon nearby enemies). This is a rare Colossal Weapon that performs similarly in both PvE and PvP.
Unlocking and Requirements –
To gain access to this weapon, you must defeat the Mature Fallingstar Beast above Mount Gelmir. This weapon requires a minimum of 34 Strengths, 12 Dexterity, and 20 Intelligence to wield. Using Somber Smithing Stones, this weapon can be improved.
Weapon Skill –
This weapon’s special weapon skill is called Gravity Bolt. This ability imbues the weapon with gravitational lightning, causing a lightning bolt to descend a short distance. The bolt inflicts both physical and magical harm. The Gravity bolt is capable of rapid firing. Nonetheless, this ability is not monetizable. 13 FP are required to use the Gravity Bolt.

8) Ruins Greatsword
Meteorite impact transformed the Ruins Greatsword from a piece of meteorite-damaged rubble into a weapon crafted by a blacksmith of exceptional ability. It managed to harness the meteorite’s power. This is reflected well in the weapon’s Ashes of War effect.
In addition to physical damage, it also launches magical gravity assaults, complementary to every heavy or charged blow. In the meantime, the weapon’s ability allows its owner to fire a barrage of unearthly anguish in a single direction and around them, allowing it to be used against ranged foes.
Unlocking and Requirements –
To unlock this weapon, you must fight the Misbegotten Warrior and the Crucible Knight on the plaza of Redmane Castle. This boss fight is only available before or after beating Starscourge Radahn and completing the chat with Witch-Hunter Jerren. To handle this weapon, the following attributes are required.
Weapon Skill –
The weapon skill associated with the Ruin’s Greatsword is known as Wave of Destruction. Your character will raise the sword high and slam it into the ground to unleash a gravitational wave upon activation. This skill is exclusive to the Ruins Greatsword and cannot be applied to other weapons via the Ashes of War ability. The cost in FP for this ability is 25.

7) Prelate’s Inferno Crozier
Want to make pancakes out of human-sized foes routinely? Then the Inferno Crozier of the Prelate is the optimal weapon for this joyful quest. It mimics the sword used by Executioner Smough in Dark Souls. The distinction is that this one includes fire as a weapon skill.
Ashes of War is a charge attack that transforms the entire hammer into a train that burns everything in its path until it reaches its target. Whoever is struck will be flipped and roasted, becoming a complete meal for the wielder of the hammer.
Unlocking and Requirements –
While using it, this weapon is dropped by an opponent within Fort Laiedd, close to the Seethewater Terminus site of grace. The fall is always assured. The required attributes for wielding this weapon are 45 Strength and 8 Dexterity. This weapon can be improved with the use of smithing stones.
Weapon Skill –
The weapon skill associated with this item is Prelate’s Charge. It enables your character to slam the hammer into the ground, creating a torrent of flames, and then charge the enemy. The charge can also be maintained by holding the skill’s activation button. It costs 7 FP to initiate charging and 7 FP to continue charging continually.

6) Starscourge Greatsword
Thankfully, Starscourge Radahn is one of the most rewarding bosses in the game, despite being one of the most challenging. Melee players that favour Quality builds also have the potential to gain Starscourge Greatsword, arguably the greatest Colossal Sword in the game.
It wreaks havoc in both PvE and PvP due to the fact that two-handing this weapon spawns another Starscourge Greatsword with its own damage in the other hand (so it hits twice, basically). If it is not sufficient, then the weapon’s ability should suffice, as it is a gravity spell that attracts foes closer before exploding and killing everyone.
Unlocking and Requirements –
You can earn the Starscourge Greatsword by defeating Radahn and exchanging the Remembrance of the Starscourge with Enia at the Roundtable Hold. This weapon requires 38 Strength, 12 Dexterity, and 15 Intelligence to wield. With Somber Smithing Stones, this weapon can be improved.
Weapon Skill –
Starcaller Cry is the weapon skill of the Starscourge Greatsword. This is a unique ability that Ashes of War cannot apply to other weapons. This ability enables you to draw your two swords together and howl into the sky, luring nearby foes with a gravitational wave. Follow the gravity pull with additional input to bash the gravity-infused swords. Twenty FP are required to cast Starcaller Cry.

5) Grafted Blade Greatsword
The Grafted Blade is another one of those weapons that has always had a great appearance and was technically viable for those who were determined to use it, but was always outclassed by too many other options. Now, though, this Colossal Sword is as formidable as it appears. It’s fast enough that you won’t be overly reliant on leap and power strikes, and its stat-boosting Weapon Skill (Oath of Vengeance) is superior to what you may expect. The latest 1.04 patch made considerable improvements to this two-handed weapon, making it an even better overall option.
The Grafted Blade is obtainable by fighting Leonine Misbegotten in Castle Morne. After multiple level-ups and killing a few non-optional bosses along the way, you will likely need to fight this boss again.
Unlocking and Requirements –
You must battle Leonine Misbegotten in Castle Morne on the Weeping Peninsula in order to acquire this weapon. Now, you must have 40 Strengths and 14 Dexterity to handle this weapon. With Somber Smithing Stones, this weapon can be improved.
Weapon Skill –
As with many other items on this list, the Grafted Blade Great Greatsword possesses a special ability that cannot be imparted to other weapons through Ashes of War. This is the Oath of Vengeance weapon skill. This ability increases all your stats by 5 for 30 seconds. While this ability is active, your poise is enhanced. Twenty FP are required to cast the Oath of Vengeance.

4) Rotten Greataxe
Those who favour dexterity builds may find the Rotten Greataxe to be the most effective Colossal Weapon in Elden Ring. Unlike the previous weapons, the Rotten Greataxe scales significantly more with Dexterity (C) than with Strength (E). This weapon requires 30 Strength and 10 Dexterity to wield. The Rotten Greataxe is dropped by the Rotten Duelist north of Ordina, the Liturgical city. The required attributes for wielding this weapon are 30 Strength and 10 Dexterity. This weapon also creates a buildup of Scarlet Rot. The Rotten Greataxe can be upgraded using Smithing stones.
Weapon Skill –
Endure is the default weapon skill for the Rotten Greataxe, just as it is for the Giant Crusher. However, you can use Ashes of war to modify this weapon’s skill to one of your choosing.

3) Dragon Greatclaw

2) Staff Of The Avatar

When you activate the Erdtree Slam ability, your character will leap into the air and slam into the ground, creating a golden shockwave that deals significant damage to nearby foes. This weapon is ideal for individuals looking to make a hybrid STR/FAI melee build.
The Staff of the Avatar is one of the Best Colossal Weapons in Elden Ring, as its special talent is the game’s most powerful ground-slam assault. This weapon is an excellent choice for a hybrid strength-faith melee build. This weapon’s effectiveness scales well with Strength (C), Faith (D), and Agility (E). Additionally, this weapon cannot be infused with any Ashes of War.
Unlocking and Requirements –
To unlock this weapon, you must reach the Great Waterfall crest place of grace, which is accessible after completing Fia’s questline in Elden Ring. When you reach the location of grace, an Erd Tree Avatar will be visible to your left.
Now, all you must do to obtain the staff is fight this Erd Tree Avatar. Minimum required attributes for using this weapon are 34 strength, 8 dexterity, and 24 faith.
Weapon Skill –
As previously stated, the Staff of the Avatar possesses a unique ability known as Erd-Tree Slam. Your character leaps into the air and slams into the ground in front of them, sending out golden shockwaves in all directions. 1) The Greatsword
We believe the regular Greatsword is the second-best weapon for large jobs in Elden Ring. A basic object may appear undesirable, yet its simplicity is what makes it so good. The Greatsword is a potent weapon for anyone with sufficient strength to wield it. It has significant scaling damage and strength and may be used with any Ash of War.
We recommend using Bloodhound’s Step or Ash of War to escape assaults and move about significantly more for this weapon. To participate, you must have STR 31 and DEX 12.
Unlocking and Requirements –
This item is located in Caelid, Dragonbarrow. At the place of grace in Caelems Ruins to the northwest, you will locate the Greatsword within a Hearse guarded by enormous Dogs. This weapon requires a minimum of 31 Strength and 12 Dexterity to wield.
Weapon Skill –
This weapon’s weapon skill is Stamp, which consists of a brace followed by a powerful assault for an upward strike. The stamp’s cost in FP is 5.
