When Is Beastar Season 4 Coming Out? (Release Date)
It’s official! Season 4 will be released later this year, which is in 2024 or earlier next year. The exact date has not been announced yet, but somewhere by the end of this year or early next year, it will be on air.
Seasons one, two, and three have covered most of the manga series, and only ten volumes have yet to be adapted. Season four will cover those ten volumes, introducing new characters, new plot twists and exciting adventures of Legoshi and finally moving towards the end of the show. Season 4 will be the final season of the show.
What is The Production Status of Beastar Season 4
Season 4 will be the final season, as per the announcement made by the makers. There are only ten volumes left, and that will be covered in the last season. Apart from that, there is no story made or left to make a 4th season.
Beastar Season 4 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
Beastars season one was released in 2019 in Japan, and on March 13, 2020, it was released on Netflix. The story is about a male grey wolf named Legoshi who wants to be a beastar in his school and does everything to protect the love of his life, Haru, a white dwarf rabbit.
The Cherryton Academy is a school where animals are divided into herbivores and carnivores. Herbivores were killed by carnivores, and therefore, there was a heat of tension between the students. One day, Tem, the Alpaca from the herbivores group, was killed, and all the students suspected carnivorous students of the murder.
Meanwhile, Legoshi and Haru had a moment in the gardening club. Still, Legoshi is uncomfortable as he is a predatory animal, and his instincts are to kill the herbivores, which means to kill Haru, but his love for her doesn’t allow him to do that, so he escapes from her.
Louis was the head of the drama club; he broke his leg due to which he was not able to perform and Bill, the Bengal tiger, had to take his place in the drama whereas Bill’s position was taken by Legoshi, who had never been on the stage before.
Legoshi and Bill got into a fight, but Louis couldn’t suspend them. Another murder happened in the school. The tension amongst the herbivores increased as, one by one, all the animals were getting killed. Meanwhile, Legoshi saves a wolf named Juno from the bullies, which makes her fall for him immediately.
One night, Haru was night all alone, and Legoshi asked if he could drop her home. While walking back home, Legoshi was fighting with his inner conflict between carnivorous instincts and his love for Haru.
Later, Legoshi saves Haru from getting killed by Shishigami Boss, and hereafter, it’s shown that Juno is jealous of Haru and challenges her to win Legoshi’s heart.
It was released in 2021, and it is the continuation of the story of season 1, introducing more characters. In season 2, Legoshi confesses his feelings to Haru, and meanwhile, the school council announces that whoever solves Tem’s murder will win the title of Beastar.
Rokum asks Legoshi to investigate Tem’s murder. Later on, Legoshi started training to control his instincts, become more powerful, and gain more strength. Legoshi proposes to Haru, and, later, when he is drinking from the bottles of all the animals, to figure out who the culprit is. Legoshi confronts Riz that he knows about the murder, and asks him to surrender.
In the last episode, it’s shown that Legoshi is about to lose to Riz but tired of the fight, Riz declares Legoshi to be the winner on New Year’s Eve. Both of them were put behind bars, but Legoshi was released earlier than Riz. Later, Legoshi decides to drop out of school, which makes Haru worry as she is concerned about their relationship.
What Happened at the End of Beastar Season 3?
In the last episode, a character named Free, who is an eccentric lion who doesn’t care about others but has a positive role in the show, kills Ibuki, who is an antagonist of the show. He was a member of Shishigumi, a gang of lions whose intention was to kill all the animals and feed on them.
Ibuki is one of them, and Free kills him. Meanwhile, Legoshi is about to lose to Riz in the fight but is tired of it; Riz announces Legoshi as the winner on New Year’s Eve. Both of them are behind bars, but Legoshi was released earlier as he didn’t commit any crime.
Later on, he decides to drop out of school, but Haru is not happy with his decision and is worried about their relationship.
What Can We Expect from Beastar Season 4?
We can expect a lot of twists in Season 4 since the plot point one of the show is solved; that is, the murder mystery of Tem has come to an end. We might probably get to see Legoshi and Haru’s love story and the problems they face in their relationship.
However, Legoshi may drop out to leave the school, which might bring some more problems, and as Free killed Ibuki, maybe there will be a revenge plot waiting for the audience. Maybe Juno hasn’t given up on Legoshi yet and tried to harm Haru, or maybe Haru cheated on Legoshi, and anything could happen.
With the introduction of new characters, there might be some new plot points that might be uncovered, hence pushing the story towards the end. Do you think it will have a happy ending with Legoshi and Haru happily living together, or will they break up?
