Storyline of Bucchigiri: What it able to be about?
Buchhigiri is a Mappa original series. There is no source material, unlike the series that is based on manga or light novels. However, the fantasy element is inspired by Arabian Nights.
The series centres around Arajin Tomoshibi. He moved back to his hometown, which means a new school and a new life. When the school is filled with delinquents, his dream of having a normal life just broke. Now, he is not just the cool and popular boy in school.
Arajin is willing to date a girl named Jin Mahoro. On the other hand, he is avoiding his childhood friend Matakara Asamine, a delinquent. He is one of the gang members of the school gang Minato Kai.
Arajin just wanted to have an ordinary school life. His life changes when he ends up in a brawl with the Siguma squad and their gang leader, Jin Marito. He was losing badly and struck a dumb wish of losing his virginity.
To everyone’s surprise, a colossal genie appears; what happened next is beyond expectation. The series revolves around the Yankee fights and surprising magic.
What happened at the end of Bucchigiri Season 1?

The brutal fight almost injured Arajin and left him unconscious. When he wakes up, a colossal genie appears and imbues Arajin with a fighting power. The genie, however, chose Arajin as his user.

The episode also revealed the history of Ichizu High. The two groups– Ikki Union and Minato Kai always fight among themselves to prove their power.
The leader of Minato Kai once defeated the Ikki Union mercilessly. However, when Marito appears and takes the position of leader of the Ikki Union, he beats the rival group. Marito changed the group name to Siguma Group and regained power.
Marito, on the other hand, drags Arajin everywhere and in his base. Arajin, the hopeless romantic, now regrets his action, while his genie partner, Senya, appreciates him.
The latest episodes reveal the truth behind the faction between these two groups. Marito knows no one will attack the rival group from behind. He still wants to settle the fight with Doman.
Matakara is the only one who is sane, preventing everyone from fighting. We get to know about Matakara’s brother, who is serving in juvenile. He will come out shortly from his term. The episode also intensifies the question of Arajin’s hatred towards Matakara.

What will happen in Season 2 spoilers and expectations?
The series shares more similarities with Tokyo Revengers. The new delinquent series also revolves around friendship, rivalry, violence and redemption. At the moment, with only four episodes, it is hard to guess what the plot will consist of in season 2.

Which Studio Is Making Bucchigiri?
Mappa Studio, the famous studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan and Chainsaw Man, is making the anime. Toho Animation, along with Dugout, are also in the production studio.
Not only that, the director and creator behind Banana Fish and SK8, Hiroko Utsumi, is directing the series. Taku Kishimoto, the famous screenwriter of Bunny Drop, Haikyu!!, Erased, and the recent Blue Lock has written the show.
The opening theme is “Sesame” by Kroi, and the ending theme is “Love je t’aime”, performed by Mahiru Coda.
