Hametsu no Oukoku Season 2 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
At a time when magic and science co-existed, the Redia Empire launched a brutal revolution in which all witches were killed on grounds of the uselessness of their powers. It was during this period that Adonis, a young orphan boy brought up by the kind-hearted Chloe, who happened to be an Ice Witch, witnessed his foster mother’s execution by the Redians.
Driven by anguish and retribution, Adonis promises to destroy humanity for its wickedness. Adonis’s thirst for revenge pushes him into a perilous journey with Doroka, one of the last surviving witches. Their paths cross as they move through dangerous ruins of once mighty kingdoms; now they look for places to hide and friends in a hostile world where magic is hated.
While traversing these treacherous terrains, Adonis and Doroka meet many different characters who have their own personal motivations and challenges as well. They come across an enigmatic White Rabbit, an assassin from Redia with cybernetic augmentations who relentlessly follows them even in their dreams.
They also come across what remains of the witch community; some want to bring back magic, while others find comfort in remaining unknowns. The contrasting personalities and beliefs held by Adonis and Doroka create friction between them throughout their journey.
Driven by his thirst for vengeance, Adonis wants to wipe out mankind, but Doroka, guided by compassion and empathy, thinks humanity can still coexist. Their conflicting perspective fuels their drive to prove each other’s wrongs.
