Junjou Romantica Season 4 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
The story has been divided into three parts: the main couple, Junjou Romantica, and the other two male couples, Junjou Egoist and Junjou Terrorist.
Junjou Romantica focuses on the relationship between Misaki Takahashi and Akihiko Usami. Misaki is a school graduate struggling to study for her college entrance exams. To ease his struggle, Misaki’s older brother arranges for his best friend, Akihito Usami, to be his tutor.
Misaki is uncomfortable about the situation, as Usami is a famous novel writer who focuses on boy’s love. As time passes, their relationship develops further, and Misaki is unsure about the feelings that he developed for his tutor.
Junjou Egoist focuses on the relationship of Hiroki Kamijou and Nowaki Kusama. Hiroki Kamijou is a university professor of classical literature and also a friend of Akihiko. Nowaki is a student seeking help for his upcoming exam.
Akihiko initially refuses to help Nowaki due to his depression from his failed romance with Usami, but Nowaki manages to convince him to look at the brighter side of life.
Junjou Terrorist is about Yoh Miyagi and Shinobu Takatsuki. Miyagi is a carefree person who goes with the flow. Meanwhile, Shinobu is a straightforward person who is hopelessly in love with Miyagi and believes that they are meant to be together.
What Happened at the End of Junjou Romantica Season 3?
Season 3 of the anime ends with episode 12. In this episode, we get to see that Akihiko has made plans to take Misaki on a trip on his 22nd birthday. However, he received notice that he needs to be present at his college as he will be awarded the prestigious literature award.
Misaki is adamant about making Akihiko go, so the latter makes arrangements accordingly. Akihiko leaves the ceremony sooner than permitted and goes with Misaki to Kamakura, where they buy marbles and play with them.
Misaki confesses that he and his older brother used to play with marbles and make wishes with them. After a while, Misaki receives a call from Ijuuin and is surprised to find the manga artist in Kamakura, who confesses his feelings again to Misaki, but Misaki manages to turn him down without Akihiko’s notice.
What Can We Expect from Junjou Romantica Season 4?
It has been six years since season 3 was released, and fans have been speculating about the release date of season 4. Although there is no official announcement but, if a new season gets into production, then there is a lot more that fans can uncover.
The manga series is still ongoing, and it’s way ahead of time. According to the manga, there is a high chance that the past of several characters may be revealed. For example, the painful past between Hiro and Shinoda. We might see further progression in the relation of Hiro and Nowaki.
Meanwhile, Misaki and Usami seem to have a very chaotic relationship, and it seems like there is no end to it.
