Diabolik Lovers seasons 1 and 2 could have been more successful. The audience did not like it as it had no proper plot, which had a beginning, middle, and end. It’s mainly about a few boys abusing a teenage girl to feed on her blood and the girl getting harassed now and then.
After the release of the second season in 2017, many new versions of the game have appeared over the years. There is enough content to make another season, but there is still no update on the new season by the makers, which means the makers might have given up on the series due to the hate that the show got.
If they are making season three, there should be a compelling plot, and the story should have more than just a girl getting harassed. The animation of the show is impressive. The way the characters are drawn, and every frame is attractive, but the animation doesn’t matter if the story lacks audience engagement.

Diabolik Lovers Season 3 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
The story is about a young teenage girl stuck with six good-looking vampires. Yui Komori is a young adolescent girl who is the daughter of a priest who left her in front of a big mansion and asked her to live there as he had to move out of the city for a new job.
Yui enters the mansion and finds a guy lying on the couch in the hall. She goes near him and realizes his body is cold, and he has no pulse, but he wakes up and licks her neck. Likewise, she meets everyone in the house and tries to escape but soon realizes there is no escape.
The boys often used to abuse her and feed on her blood; after living with them for a month, she realized why they were acting like animals. The reason is their mother. They all are brothers from three mothers. Their mothers used to force them to do things that they didn’t want to do.
A new character named Cordelia appears, and she tries to harm Yui; the boys don’t like that and plan to get rid of Cordelia as she might be dangerous to Yui.
Yui keeps having dreams of being “Eve”. She had no idea what her dream meant. All of the Sakamaki brothers and Yui met with an accident while going to school, but fortunately, nobody was hurt. Later, Yui gets kidnapped by the Mukami brothers, who address her as Eve, and she has to choose her Adam amongst them.
They were sweet abusers, unlike the Sakamaki brothers. They used to get Yui flowers and then feed on her blood. Even though later, they started abusing and feeding on her blood as they believed the more blood they sucked, there is more chance of being Adam. Yui feels weak due to the loss of blood, but these vampires show no mercy and keep feeding on her.
Later in the last episode, it shows how the wolf attacked both the Mukami and Sakamaki brothers, and they realized that the founders wanted Yui and she was in danger. She tries to separate herself from all of them but can’t, as Ayato claims her as his own and that her blood only belongs to him and feeds on her blood.
What Happened at the End of Diabolik Lovers Season 2?
According to various sources across the web and considering audience reviews, there is hardly any chance of a third season.
Even if there is, the story should involve more content about Yui’s having her personality and individuality and the ability to fight these demons and protect herself from them.
Yui’s character should be given more respect, and as she is the protagonist, the story should also favour her instead of getting her harassed and abused.
What Can We Expect from Diabolik Lovers Season 3?
At the end of season 2, the wolves sent by the founders attack the Mukami brothers, and after shooting the Mukami brothers, the wolves attack the Sakamaki brothers as well. They somehow fight them back and save themselves.
The Sakamaki brothers soon realize that the target is Yui. They want to kill all of them and take Yui. Yui wants to separate herself from everyone and wants to escape the torture and harassment, but Ayato, one of the brothers from the Sakamaki brothers, claims that she belongs to him and her blood belongs to him.
Then, at last, he feeds on Yui’s blood, and the season ends there.

In the show, a teenage girl named Yui is shown as weak and submissive. She doesn’t have her own decisions, and her life revolves around these vampires, fantasizing about violence and dominance.
The film industry itself is entirely of male dominance, and not a single story in commercial movies is shown without a female character whose life revolves around the male protagonist.
The narrative of the films should change. The audience nowadays is looking for different, unique content, and they are smart; they have their analysis and opinions on specific content.
