Storyline of A Shop for Killers: What it able to be about?
The story of A Shop for Killers is based on the work of Kim Ji-young’s The Killer’s Shopping Mall. The story of this highly anticipated show is set in today’s Korea and it begins with a mysterious phone call.
Jian is a regular student who goes to college but her life changes when she finds out on the call that her uncle has committed suicide.
Hearing this news from the police on the phone call shocks Jian because her uncle was not someone who would choose this path.
Jian’s uncle was the one who took her under his wing after her parents died and knowing her uncle since her childhood, something about this suicide did not sit well with her.
However, Jian had no time to comprehend any of this tragic news she just received from the police because she gets jumped by drones that are after her life.
Jian is attacked by an unknown group of highly trained assassins who are aiming to unalive her on spot but she manages to escape them in time. After making her way back home, Jian is alone in her house and unsafe because of the threat that is lingering on her head.
This stage of panic causes her to dig up a past she thought was never going to be needed in the future, Jian’s uncle gave her lessons on learning important skills to protect herself when a dangerous situation arises.
Her uncle knew what was about to come for in the future for Jian which is why he taught her everything he knew to keep her safe even if he is not around to protect her himself.
