When Is The Bequeathed Season 2 Coming Out? (Release Date)
The Bequeathed Season 2 has not yet received a green signal simply because Season 1 is still very new! Yes, the creators as well as the producers need to keep an eye on the reviews, ratings and viewership till they can decide whether to release a Season 2 of The Bequeathed or not.

Storyline of The Bequeathed: What it able to be about?
The plot is simple, but the visuals are so hard to describe! It is one of those movies that you must watch to get the feels. The plot revolves around Seo-ha, who was leading a life as a “doormat” because she gets hurt by others but never takes any revenge or gets back at the wrongdoers.
So she is living her life as a university lecturer, dreaming of being a full-time professor, when all of a sudden she gets the news. What news? She inherited her burial ground after the sudden death of her long-lost uncle.
As she is in the process, she gets creeped out by a guy. The guy is her half-brother, and he is super creepy. What follows is a series of murders and attacks on Seo-ha, which leave the audience to question what the secret of this burial ground is.
What will be going to happen in Season 2 with expectation and spoiler?
Unfortunately, filming for Season 2 of The Bequeathed has not yet started! Until and unless the creator Yeon Sang-Ho (Who, by the way, has also created Train to Busan) gets a green signal from the producers, he won’t be able to start filming for Season 2! For now, the cast as well as the producers are busy promoting season 1 of The Bequeathed. The success of Season 1 will determine the making of Season 2.
What happened at the end of Season 1?
So many secrets are revealed in the end! First, the death of the uncle, which was a complete mystery, is finally debunked. He died of Thallium poisoning. And guess who did it? He was killed by the village chief, Yuk Sang-soo and his men as they wanted to buy Myung-Gil’s (Seo-Ha’s uncle’s) land to develop a golf course which would prove to be profitable for the village aka for them.
After the land goes to Seo-Ha they try to get it signed off from her as well but she is determined not to give the land away. Both Sang-soo and his friend Kim Kwang-soo are responsible for Myung-Gil’s death.
Coming to the murder of the detective and Seo-Ha’s husband. It was done by Seo-Ha’s aunt, Myung-Hee. Why? Because she wanted to get rid of anyone related to Seo-Ha. She even wanted to kill Seo-Ha just so her son Young-So could get the burial ground in his name so that he could honor his father.
She killed the detective because he was trying to keep Young-So away from the property so that Seo-Ha could easily acquire it. In the end, however, she is revealed but not for long as she goes into a burning building, committing suicide. Seo-Ha buries Myung-Hee and remains beside the rest of her family.
Now coming to the actual grotesque part of the story that will answer this simple question: How is Young-So related to Seo-Ha, that too as half-brother? This is because Young-Ho’s maternal side is related to Seo-Ha’s paternal side as revealed by the doctor who was performing the DNA test.
Turns out Seo-Ha’s father had an affair with his own sister and had a baby. That baby is Young-so. Since then Myung Hee has remained hidden from the public because the news of her having a baby via incest was spreading like wild fire. In the end, Seo- Ha decided to keep the burial ground.

What is the production status of The Bequeathed season 2?
Season 2 will either directly follow Season 1 and the events will be set right after the ending of Season 1 or there will be a completely different story. The ending of season 1 was spine-chilling.
Season 2 might focus on the development of the relationship between Young-Ho and Seo-Ha, as they are the only family members left. Seo-Ha will have to move on with her life and Young-Ho has to stop being a creep (Seriously, he is creepy.)
Will both of them fight against each other for the land? Or will they be content sharing the ominous burial ground? Season 2 of The Bequeathed will be answering the questions.
