What is The Production Status of Palm Royale Season 1
The series is produced by Wyolah Entertainment, with Abe Sylvia the man behind many hit projects such as “George and Tammy, “Dead to Me, and “Filthy Rich joining in as a writer, executive producer, and showrunner for the show.
Also joining in the production as an executive producer will be John Norris. Kristen Wiig, famous for her roles in Bridesmaids and Wonder Woman:1984, has been associated with the project since its announcement in Feb 2022, later confirmed that she is also an executive producer of the show.
Also joining in as executive producers are Jayme Lemons, Laura Dern, Jesse Sternbaum, Adam Gomolin, and Juliet McDaniel. Juliet McDaniel is the author of the bestselling book “Mr and Mrs American Pie on which Palm Royale is based.
Palm Royale Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
The story takes us back to 1960’s Palm Springs where the main character, Maxine Simmons (played by the brilliant Kristen Wiig) is left by her husband and rendered an outcast by her social circle.
In the sun-drenched paradise of Palm Springs, we see Maxine struggling with loneliness and Social Anxiety. Maxine is determined to break in and make a place for herself in the world of the Palm Beach elite and is determined to do whatever it takes and whatever she can sacrifice to make her place.
Much like the plots of White Lotus, Saltburn, and Succession, Palm Royale gives its take on the glittery world of the elite rich. But there is more than what meets the eye in Palm Royale; the show presents the elusive yet inviting world of the ultra-rich.
We see Maxine asking the questions that we all have in our minds, what does it take to belong, and whether it is worth it?

What Can We Expect from Palm Royale Book’s Adaptation?
The show takes its story from Juliet McDaniel’s 2018 bestselling novel Mr. & Mrs. American Pie. Mostly all the novel adaptations may follow the storyline of the book they are based on.
The description given in Juliet McDaniel’s book is: It’s Thanksgiving 1969 in tony Palm Springs, California, and steely socialite Maxine Simmons has just learned that her husband is leaving her for his pregnant, much younger secretary.
After a public meltdown of epic proportions, Maxine finds herself exiled to dusty Scottsdale, Arizona. Maxine knows there’s only one thing she can do to build herself up again: win the Mrs. American Pie pageant, awarded to the nation’s best wife and mother.
But there’s a catch. To win the crown, Maxine will need to cobble together a family of her own.” Whether the story writers follow the script or add something on their own remains to be seen and will be known after the release of the show.
