About Super Dancer
The very popular Kids dancing reality show Super Dancer is back again with a new chapter season 5. The show first Air on Sony Entertainment Television on 10th September 2016. Since then the show is successfully running on Sony. You can also watch super dancer on sonyliv the OTT platform for Sony Entertainment Television.
Concept
The judge’s panel selects candidates from different locations in India through auditions. After the initial audition process is completed there is 1 Mega Audition. Only after the Mega Audition we get the final participants for the super dancer. Each season there are 12 super dancers that the judges select.
Each contestant gets a choreographer or super Guru who has a unique style like them. These super Gurus are choreographers who train each participant with special care and nurture their talent carefully. They bring the best out of each contestant. Every week the performances are judged by the audience through audience votes on the SonyLiv app. Each week 1 participant gets eliminated. And finally, there are our 5 finalists. Only one becomes the winner and claims the super dancer winner title and the prize money.
Season 1 (2016)
The first season or the first chapter aired, on 10th September 2016. It had a total of 29 episodes. The winner of the first season is Ditya Bhande who is from Mumbai Maharashtra.

Season 2 (2017)
The first episode of season 2 Air on 13th September 2017. In this season there was a total of 51 episodes. The winner of Super Dancer season 2 is Bishal Sharma from Jorhat Assam.

Eligibility Criteria for Super Dancer audition 2021
- The candidate has to be an Indian citizen.
- The candidate has to be 4 to 13 years old.
- As there are participants below 18 years, they need to provide parental or legal guardian’s details and their parent or legal guardian has to accompany them in the show.
- Anyhow, this is a digital audition the person need not reach any venue for this. But you need to have an Internet connection are you can go to any nearby cyber cafe for uploading your video.
- The person also needs to provide his or her identity proof details.
Super Dances Audition Process
- This year there will be a digital audition because of the coronavirus outbreak.
- However, only the first step of the audion will be online. After that, there are several stages of the auditions (if cleared the digital audition) which you have to clear to reach the studio auditions.
- There might be a chance of offline auditions too.
- The participant needs to download the SonyLIV app from Play Store or Apple Store.
- After successfully downloading the app the participant needs to go to the Super Dancer audition page, which will be live very soon (we will update the dates).
- Before filling up the audition form the candidate needs to read the terms and conditions. And if you agree to them proceed by clicking on the check box then click on ‘I agree’.
- Then you will find the online form for auditions. You also have to select your preferred language and fill the form.
- Make sure your contact details and email id are correct because the authorities will be contacting you through that only.
- They will ask you to select a city among Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata for your studio audition (if selected).
- After that, you have to upload your audition video. Make sure your face is clearly visible.
- Your audition video must be raw and unedited. No temperament or editing is allowed.
- Keep the camera still and on landscape mode to shoot the performance. Also, make sure your foot works are visible.
- The length of the videos has to be of 90 seconds and it should not exceed 90 seconds at any cost.
- Once your video is uploaded you can click on the submit button. The team of Super Dancer will contact you within the next 15 days if selected.
