Storyline of Secret Playlist: What it able to be about?
The show follows Song Han Joo, a typical college student struggling hard to find a job, and Lee Do Gook, who is a famous K-pop idol from S.E.Z band.
On the outside, we see Han Joo desperately looking for a job, but there’s a secret she’s hiding from everyone. She works as a music Youtuber, and to follow her dream of becoming a singer, she secretly covers songs on an SNS account called “Plii” and hides her true identity from everyone.
On the other side, Do Gook, who is a popular male idol of the famous group S.E.Z, is approaching the end of his contract. Do Gook is an admirer of Plii and reaches out to her for a project collaboration as he wants to go solo for his upcoming projects.
Meanwhile, Han Joo is to hide her identity from everyone, and Do Gook won’t stop searching for the face behind Plii’s voice. But destiny seemed to have other plans; it turns out that Han Joo and Do Gook are classmates in college. Will Han Joo be able to hide her identity from Do Gook, or will Do Gook see right through her?

What happened at the end of Secret Playlist Season 1?

In the previous episodes, Han Joo is seen to be a hardworking job seeker who is struggling with life. But in secret, she works as a music YouTuber and goes by the name “Plii.” Our male lead, Lee Do Gook is a famous K-pop male idol of the group S.E.Z and goes by the stage name of Levi.
Han Joo’s music life is hidden from her family because of something that happened to her mother related to music in the past. We see Levi also being forced by his brother, who is the CEO of the company Levi works under, to become an actor. Levi is passionate about music, but since his vocals aren’t a fan’s favorite, the company wants him to start acting because of his visuals.
Han Joo and Levi are in the same college; one day, Han Joo accidentally steps on Levi’s headphones and says that she will get them repaired. Later, when Levi goes to Han Joo’s workplace, he discovers Plii’s guitar. Since Levi doesn’t know that Han Joo is the real Plii, he asks Han Joo to find out the owner of the guitar and says he will forgive her for the broken headphones.
As Han Joo is determined to hide her identity from Levi, she gets an internship where she needs an idol for her new project, to which Levi offers her help. One night, Han Joo brings a drunk Levi home, where Levi kisses her in his drunk state.
The next day, when Han Joo is trying to ignore Levi at all costs because of last night’s incident, she gets the task of making a short video on Levi’s music journey. Meanwhile, Levi wakes up, and the flashback of him kissing Han Joo in his drunken state makes him embarrassed, and he decides to ask for her forgiveness.
In the upcoming season, we will get to see whether Han Joo forgives him or not and if Levi is able to find the real Plii.
