Being the rebel she is, Romina, when interviewed about her victory, utilizes the opportunity to voice her opinions against the Chitiva gang! She goes on to describe the exploitative nature of the Chitivas and how the gang has tactfully trapped the innocent people of the area into high debts. As expected, our protagonist here makes new enemies due to her rebellious nature.
The story furthers, and we now meet Laura, the twin of Romina, a shy and soft girl, who after watching the interview, comes to know about her twin sister.
The 21-year-old Laura now goes on to meet her sister, Romina, and they together then go in search of their biological mother, who then narrates the story of their birth and separation!
The makers of the show here have beautifully captured the emotions of the trio: a mother and two separated twin sisters, who now happily hug each other in the joy of reunion!
On the other side, we see the Chitiva gang is in search of Romina to kill her and seek revenge for exposing their activities to the media! In a mistaken identity, Laura becomes the target of the Chitiva brothers. When Romina comes to know about her sister’s death, she vows to seek revenge.
In pursuit of her mission, Romina decides to take on the identity of her sister. Soon after Romina steps into the shoes of her sister to uncover the dirty secrets of the murder, she becomes the reason for doubt by Laura’s parents, as they think that Laura is not their daughter.
