Zombieverse Season 2 Possible Release Date

Zombieverse Season 2, as we already said, might not be renewed. Despite having a very good concept for the show, Zombieverse is not for everyone and thus failed to gather a lot of fans. After almost one month of release, Zombieverse has not made any impression on the audience, and thus a renewal looks nearly impossible.

The snowmakers and Netflix have not made any comments on Zombieverse season 2. If, in the long run, Zombieverse proves that it is indeed a good watch, we can expect it to return in 2025 and no earlier than that.

What Is The Storyline Of Zombieverse Series?

Zombieverse, also called Jombibeoseu (좀비버스), is an eight episode Netflix original Korean reality show that first hit the screens on August 8, 2023. Though a “reality” show, the scenes involving the zombies are sometimes so intense that one might not be sure of what they are actually watching.

The show is apparently set in an alternate dimension after the time Covid-19 have perished. Not so random people are invited to the show and are told to get food, transportation, and every other necessary thing they require to survive amidst the zombies. If they get beaten by the zombies, they cannot continue.

These contestants are famous Korean personalities, from actors to singers. The show starts with the host explaining the quests that they need to clear in order to get the necessary supplies. Among all the people there, one of the women starts behaving oddly. It turns out that she has been infected and has turned into a zombie.

What We Can Expect From Zombieverse Season 2?

We expect season 2 to carry out the same production quality as seen in season 1. In the new season, new contestant and personalites will be intrdouced who will run from zombies in order to survive and prove they are indeed very brave.

Season 2 is also expected to have 8 episodes relasing altogther on Netflix and each being around 55 minutes long. Season 1 had already set a great platform and good production that made the unscrited reality show seem like a costly produced K-drama.

We are expecting season 2 will contue the same legacy and show us some of the good quality zombie and the time of zombie apocalypse. The contestant for Zombieverse season 2 have not been anounced and we will be able to meet them only once the trailer for it is released.

What Happened At The End Of Zombieverse Season 1?

The first season of Zombieverse was very intriguing. In it, some are betrayed and some are left behind. As a result of their infection, they occasionally have to part ways with their close friends and family. Some of the cast members would occasionally joke around while in dangerous situations, which was hilarious.

The cast’s personalities vary, as do their perspectives on particular issues. Because it is different from other zombie shows, it might appear strange at first. It was totally unscripted, and that was visible by looking at the cast members. The cast is constantly screaming because they are unsure of what is happening or what will happen to them next.

We saw them fighting and running from zombies. Whether they survive or not is entirely up to them. Of course, there is betrayal in the show too, which is the major game changer! Additionally, it has cliffhangers, and the last episode also left us hanging.

Zombieverse Series Rating

Zombieverse Season 1 failed to attract the attention of audiences and is not doing as well as expected by Netflix, as was seen during the release of this trailer. It has only gathered a score of 4.3 on IMDb and 7.4 on MyDramaList.

But it managed to get good reviews from the fans who watched the show and different critics who called the show “chilling and ludicurous” while also praising the stage quality.

Zombieverse Series Detailed Review

People need to realize that unscripted doesn’t mean that the actors don’t know what they’re doing. They must know they’re in a reality show and know what to do to stay alive or else they wouldn’t hurt the zombie players.

But I thought that their deeds and characters were real. I thought it was hilarious and very interesting. It’s not a movie or a series so you don’t have to question what they do.

Some people didn’t like how the actors laughed and seemed to enjoy it but I thought it made it seem more real to me. I thought it was a lot of fun and I’d like to see another season with a new group.
