Stay By My Side, also known as Mian Yi Ping Bi (免疫屏蔽: Immunity Shield) in its native language, is an original Taiwan fantasy Boys Love drama. The main focus of the story is on two charismatic boys, Go Bu Xia and Jiang Chi.

Bu Xia may look like a totally normal guy from the outside, but in actuality, he can hear ghost’s voices and screams. This is because of his family ties. Since his childhood, he has been raised by his grandfather, who was a spirit medium. Until the moment his grandfather was alive, Jian Chi led a normal life, but after his death, strange things started happening to him.

Right after his grandfather’s funeral, Bu Xia begins to hear strange voices in his head. At first, he thought that he might be having hallucinations or that he might be mentally sick after his grandfather’s death and decided to visit a doctor. But before that, he finds out that these were not hallucinations but a ghost’s voice that he has been hearing, which greatly shocks him.

But even more shocking things happen when he realizes that being closer to Jiang Chi helps him relieve the strange ghost’s voices. Jiang Chi is Bu Xia’s roommate and is an excellent sportsman.

Now, because of this, Bu Xia finds himself looking for reasons to stay close to Jiang Chi. But is it only due to his temporary solution to ghost hearing or because Jiang Chi is very charismatic?
