Ho Woo, our main lead, is one of the only high school graduates who got to join the top accounting company with his wit and his observation, along with his memory and adaptation. Ho Woo gets to work with Je Kyun and Seung Ja, the father and son duo who do not hesitate to get what they want.
All of them worked together with the same goal in mind but different ways of attaining it. What Happened At The End Of Numbers Season 1?
Seung Jo plans to have other banks rally behind Jisan Bank to protect it from an acquisition by HK Private Equity Works. Ji Soo, the Korean branch’s chief executive officer of HK Private Equity, is instrumental in revealing Je Kyun’s illegal activities.
During the emergency shareholders’ meeting, she blackmails FSC members into voting against the purchase by threatening to expose their involvement with the company.
Her deft manipulations win over the FSC members, who vote against Je Kyun’s proposals and instead support Jisan Bank. In the end, Je Kyun’s plans go apart when the shareholders’ meeting goes against him, exposing the HK Private Equity bank takeover attempt and Je Kyun’s role in it to the public. National and international media widely cover the scandal, and Je Kyun is promptly fired from Taeil as a result.
The atrocities of Je Kyun are finally catching up with him, and he must pay the price. By going to the police and providing evidence of Je Kyun’s unlawful dealings, Ho Woo ensures that Je Kyun will spend the next ten years behind bars. Now that Je Kyun has been put down and justice has been done, Ho Woo and Ji Soo may move on with their lives.
Ji Soo is reunited with Seung Jo, while Ho Woo and Yeon Ah are comforted by one another.
