Guns & Gulaabs Storyline
The dark comedy crime drama Guns & Gulaabs from India will keep you guessing right up to the very end. The 1990s setting of the show centers on a band of misfits who become entangled in a web of corruption and crime.
The 1990s small town of Gulaabganj serves as the setting for this series, which follows the conflict between two factions vying to dominate the opium trade. There is a parallel story of three young schoolboys that folds out well. Its members include a Bombay police officer, a mechanic who is in love, a schoolboy who is embroiled in rivalry, and a hitman with lethal abilities.
In Gulaabganj, opium farming is legal, though it is traded by two gangs, Ganchi and Nabeed. One day, Baby Tiger, a man from Ganchi’s gang, was murdered by Four-Cut Aatmaram, which was witnessed by Gangaram. Tipu is the son of Babu and a mechanic by profession. He rejects the offer to join Ganchi’s gang and goes ahead to impress his crush, Chandralekha.
Since Chandralekha is an English teacher but Tipu does not know English, he hires Gangaram, who also has a crush on her, to write a letter in English. Gangaram sabotages the letter, and Chandralekha ends up rejecting him. In a fit of anger and sadness, Tipu ends up killing two thugs who were harassing him in his shop.

What Can We Expect From Guns and Gulaabs Season 2
Guns and Gulaabs season 1 ended as Jugnu swore that he would do whatever he wanted to do and killed Ganchi by taking off his ventilator. It is not confirmed, though, whether Ganchi died or not. In Guns and Gulaabs Season 2, we will be confirmed whether Ganchi was saved or he really died.
In the next season, Tipu, Jugnu, Gangaram, and every other character will be seen growing up with a time gap in the story. As the opium trade gets more complicated, we might even see some of our heroes get into it deeper. Raj shared that he is not excited to make season 2 of Guns and Gulaabs but will do it if fans want. So we are hoping that its storyline doesn’t get messed up like Family Man season 2.
What happened at the end of Guns and Gulaabs Season 1
“Guns and Gulabs” starts off in the idyllic beauty of a “gulaab” field but quickly shifts to a world where “guns” are the rule rather than the exception. We are introduced to Tipu, a quiet local mechanic whose life suddenly changes course following the tragic passing of his father.
Rage-fueled, he is drawn into a world he never intended to be a part of. His conflicting desires for love, vengeance, and other things oscillate within his complex emotions, making him an instantly likeable but enigmatic character.
Chotu, who goes by the names Jugnu or Jr. Ganchi, aspires to win Ganchi’s favor and forge his own path. Guns and Gulaabs dives into its more extreme story over the course of its six episodes and extended mini-movie finale.
Aatmaram and Tipu get into a final fight. When Tipu was almost killed and cut into pieces, he managed to shoot Aatamaram with his father’s gun. But as he was taken to the hospital, he supposedly died in Lekha’s arms.
Arjun also takes the right path and returns all the opium to the government. The series ends with Jugnu killing Ganch and promising that he will do things his way in the future.
