Dreamland Storyline: What would it be able to be About?
Dreamland is based in the sea-side town of Margate. Trish is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Spence. As she undergoes pregnancy, her sister Leila and their mother support her. Meanwhile, their other sister Mel is on a trip in France. But her sudden return to Margate brings a bundle of secrets with her that might disrupt the whole family.
What happened at the end of Dreamland season 1?
Dreamland talks about two sisters, Trish and Mel. At the start of the series, Trish is expecting a baby with her partner Spence while Mel shows up after her France vacation also pregnant with a mystery person’s baby.
However, that is not the only secret Mel is hiding. As the sisters embark on the pregnancy and motherhood journey, hidden secrets threaten to break their bond. Meanwhile, Clare learns about the disastrous secret that Mel is hiding. However, Mel makes her promise not to tell Trish.
But things take a turn when Trish and Spence move into their new house, Mel loses it and finally tells her the truth. It turns out that Mel is pregnant with Spence’s baby, which resulted from a drunken and drug-filled one-night stand.
A heartbroken Trish throws Spence out of the house and also cuts off connection with Mel. Mel is left alone and crying after she betrayed her sister. Leila and Trish remain in their new home where Leila tries to comfort her.

The initial episode made me question whether or not I should continue watching, but I’m glad I did! I was captivated, binge-watched the entire series, and was ravenous for more after episode 6.
In the midst of their crises, we catch glimpses of their love and bonds. It’s not laugh-out-loud funny, and the series’ main themes aren’t precisely humorous, but humorous moments are interspersed throughout.
Hugh Coles’s portrayal of Dom, who made me guffaw out loud nearly every time he spoke, was by far the most entertaining! I found the investigation of the mother-daughter relationship as well as the themes of sexual orientation, identity, and shame to be at times quite moving.
As someone without sisters, it was painful, beautiful, and enthralling to observe the development of this narrative and its relationships. We found the conclusion incredibly depressing, but we hope things will continue to progress in subsequent seasons.
