XO, Kitty Season 2 Release Date
Netflix announced the renewal of Xo Kitty season 2 in June 2023 but there is no confirmed release date yet. However, regarding the Season 2 release date, Sang Heon Lee who played Min-ho’s character in Xo Kitty, shared his thoughts on the upcoming season.
According to him, the ongoing Writer’s strike in Hollywood has made it difficult for the team to conclude how to approach and write the script. The strike has caused a delay in the production process, and the team will have to wait until it’s over to write the script.
The production for Xo Kitty season one began in March 2022, and the show was released in May 2023. Based on the pattern of the first season, we can expect that if the production for season two starts in 2024, then season 2 will probably be released in May 2025.

What happened at the end of Season 1?
Kitty seems confused about her sexuality, and when she tells this to Dae, he claims that he cannot take up all of the stress and leaves. There are several wholesome moments between father and daughter, which leaves the audience in awe of their relationship. Kitty is expelled from the college after they learn she has been staying in the boy’s hostel.
Which looks pretty crazy, but Kitty tries to explain her side. The entire Season was a series of twists and turns, especially towards the end when we see a lot happening on the screen. While saying goodbye to everyone Min Ho gives Kitty a very lame goodbye.
Dae meets Kitty at the airport, where they both hug and kiss for the last time, but that is the end of the relationship. While on the plane, Min Ho nudges Kitty and explains that he will meet his mother in LA. He further expresses his love for Kitty, and that is where the series ends.

XO, Kitty Season 2 Review
The series is a far cry from the To All The Boys trilogy. I never really cared for the meddling and hyperactive youngest sister in the movies, so it was hard to watch her as a main character in the series and root for her as the protagonist.
I would have stopped watching had it not been for Min Ho and hearing the fantastic K-pop music. Unfortunately, They didn’t know some of the characters, unfort, and always focused on themselves and her problems with Dae. Also, why the need for a poorly designed love square?
I don’t wonder why Kuri was part of the equation because she aimed to get a certain someone back. It could have been better writing, poorly executed acting except for the lovely Min Ho, cringeworthy scenes, and didn’t have a realistic Korean high school experience. It was drama on top of drama on top of drama but lacked the K-drama greatness.
