Bone of Crows Season 2 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
Narrated through the eyes of the family matriarch Aline Spears, a Cree woman who had to leave her exceptionally successful music career behind to move to Canada with her siblings.
This story captures the life of the Spears family over the generations as they deal with one obstacle after the other, trying to fit in as a Cree in this new land of Canada. Racial discrimination, assault, isolation, ignorance, and struggle for liberty.
As Aline grows older, with the help of her daughter and granddaughter, Aline tries to deal with her new life in this constantly changing environment, trying to be the matriarch of the family, as she heals from her past traumas as a new woman in this new land, crossing snow-clad mountains and undertaking dangerous adventures; her life in the Indian residential school; her life as a code talker during the devastating Second World War times.
Steeped in history and reality of the past, the microcosmic journey of a woman is put into the macrocosmic temporal space of the World War. Deadline with issues like racial killings, contribution to the indigenous people in these times, and the discrimination and discrepancy they had to face, especially the women of the community for survival.

Bone of Crows Season 1 is an ongoing mini-series having a total of five episodes. The last episode is titled “To be here,” and as the title suggests something related to finding one’s own space in this land of the unknown can be expected from the episode.
