Three friends – Mew, Ray, and Boston are best friends from the same university. All three of them have extremely contrasting personalities. However, there is just one similarity between them – their social life. With clubs, alcohol, drugs, and parties, their life is full of excitement. Until one day when one friend decides to set up another one with a boy at the club.
Mew is a perfect A-scoring student. All his life, all his concentration was dedicated towards achieving the perfect marks. For a business project, Boston takes the help of a guy he meets at a club. Boston decides to introduce Mew to Top, completely oblivious to Top’s prior interest towards Mew.
As one thing leads to another, Mew finds himself in a one-night fling with Top. Completely against the way things turned towards, Mew decides to maintain some distance from Top. The latter, on the other hand, tries to stay friends with Mew.
A student from the economics department of the University named Sand has feelings for Ray and wants to date him, but Ray wants a relationship with Mew. Nick, another fellow Boston meets at a phone repairing shop finds a sex tape of Boston in his phone.
Boston and Nick start having a friend-with-benefits relationship. Although Nick wants something more, Boston is still stuck in his Casanova character.
As friendship starts mixing with love and situations become subsequently complicated, both love and friendship become at stake.
What Happened at the End of Only Friends Season 1?
On 7 October 2023, the ninth episode of this twelve-episode series Only Friends Season 1 was released. In this episode we see an evolved version of Top as he handles the hotel, Sand, and Ray, all by himself.
As we root for Sand and Ray as a couple, we can assume progress in that area as well. Although Ray’s unpredictable attitude towards both Sand and Mew has left the audience confused and frustrated with Ray’s unpredictable, unstable attitude, we need to see some character development in this person.
