Joanna finds herself stuck in the basement as well and the big question is whether she will be able to make it out and give birth.
What Happened at the End of After the Flood Season 1?
The first season was full of mysteries and thriller intense scenes whereas now it has all wrapped up and we will go through the major events which happened and all the questions which were answered in the end.
One of the major questions that all the viewers had was who is actually the killer of Daniel Eden? It turned out that Mackie owed Daniel a sum amount of £100,000 and he was not able to pay it in time. Not only this but they had a heated argument in between.
Daniel then decided to taunt Mackie that he kissed his wife and this struck Daniel’s nerve in a moment. Lee and Jack were also present in the situation as they were trying to sort the situation down but it eventually got worse.

Daniel hit Mackie in the head and he killed him with a second hit again. Lee and Jack were surprised with the action that Daniel decided to take. However, Lee was trying his best to help his friend and Jack was trying to call an ambulance when both of them were stopped by Mackie.
Mackie then told both of them to leave everything alone as all of them are in this together and they would have to answer for it. The big mystery was finally answered and the story then takes us back to the present and shows Pat revealing that Mackie and Sarah are the foster parents of Lee.
What Can We Expect from After the Flood Season 2?
There is hardly any possibility that the show will return once again on the screens. One of the reasons was the bad ratings that it received and though it would not make any sense for the show to return for another season since the first season wrapped up the story about the disaster of Flood and even the murder.
However, it is totally up to the creators if they wish to revive the show for a second season now. The creators could bring back the show in a totally new way and even change the story about the Flood or even a spinoff could be put in the works.
