Analog Squad Storyline: What would it be able to be About?
The story revolves around Pond. Pond is a very peculiar and mysterious character who has not made his parents proud for the longest time. Usually, it didn’t quite matter to him until it was 1999. End of a millennium, his dad falls terribly sick.
Pond feels guilty and wishes to make his dad proud before his dad dies. And what will make his parents proud? Pond having a happy family. But Pond doesn’t have a family. He had recently broken up with Lily.
His present condition does not matter to him as Pond desperately wants his parents’ love and acceptance so he pleads with Lily to act as his “wife” and he gets two teens Kek and Bung, to play the role of his “kids”.
Kek is an employee at a pager company and Bung has her video rental shop. This show follows the crazy antics and lies this fake family has to come up with to protect their cover and fulfill their mission.

What happened at the end of Season 1?
There is a lot to unpack. First, the cover of the fake family is blown off. Grandpa Kew knew all about it for a long time. Now let’s come to the ending each of the fake family members got.
Bung gets to know that her father was cheating on her mother and even had an affair with her baby.
She initially wanted to disown her father and absolutely hated him, but soon she came to terms with it after she had to take care of her half-brother.
Bung also forgives her father in the process. As for Lily, she was battling breast cancer, and life felt very hard because she was lonely.
But after bonding with Pond’s family, she felt as if she had found her family in them. She was especially attached to Pond’s mother, whose death in the later episodes hurt her very much.
The support of Pond’s family gave her the courage to go for the operation, which turned out to be a success! As for Kek, he fulfills his dream of going to America. He was secretly ashamed of his mother’s profession. (She was a nudist model.)
On top of all that, he discovers that his best friend, a man named Ruk, at work is actually his father! He is inconsolable at first, but then he slowly accepts Ruk as his father and stops feeling ashamed of his mother’s profession before leaving for the US.
Now comes our main protagonist, Pond. Pond reconciles with his father. His debts are cleared thanks to Grandpa Kew. He meets his daughter Mag, who is initially disappointed because of his lie (the fake family).
But then he manages to reconnect with her and be there for her wedding with all the real and fake family! ‘All ends that end well’ is our final take on this season of Analog Squad.
What will happen in Season 2? Plot Prediction!
Lily has had a successful operation, but is she cured? Bung had issues with her cheating father but ended up accepting her half-brother, who is an affair baby.
We will get to see more of Bung and her half-sibling growing a deeper bond. Pond has finally resolved his issues with his dad, so we will see them make up for the lost time.
We will also see Lily and Pond together. Mag’s wedding brought not only the biological family together but also the chosen family.
So we will see more of Mag and her married life. Basically, the story of Season 2 of Analog Squad will pick up where it left off in the Season 1 finale.
