At the early age of 12, Peter Frampton began his musical journey, starting with a band called Little Ravens.

Frampton and David Bowie, who is three years older than him, attended the same school. They used their lunch break as a jam session, strumming Buddy Holly songs.

After that, Frampton played for two other bands. He started getting recognition and became a flourishing child singer.

He joined The Herd in 1966 as a guitarist and vocalist and released many hits. Peter became “The Face of 1968” by UK teen magazine Rave.

Frampton came across Steve Marriott of the band Small Faces. They went on to launch their new band. Hence Humble Pie was created in 1969. The boys worked together on four studio and one live album.

However, Frampton’s breakthrough album was his live album called Frampton Comes Alive! The album had many rocking singles like “Baby, I Love Your Way”, “Show Me the Way,” and “Do You Feel Like We Do”.

Frampton won the Juno Award for the album in 1977.
