Trapped in a Dating Sim Season 2 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
The story revolves around our protagonist, Leon, as his sister coerced him into playing an Otome game by provoking a dispute with their mother. By getting caught in his sister’s scheme, Leon ends up learning the game inside out, from the strategizing of combat sequences to mastering societal norms to wooing the opposite gender.
As he completes his way through the various levels of the dating simulation, Leon unfortunately has a fall down the stairs which has him ending up in the fantasy world, revealed to be the same world the Otome game was set in.
Leon is reincarnated into his new simulated reality as a petty noble named Leon Fou Bartfort where he has to make a name for himself as an accomplished adventurer to enter the prestigious academy for nobles.
As Leon enters the academy after ten years of being reincarnated and to avoid obeying his stepmother’s absurd wishes, he finds himself embroiled in all the petty political and societal disputes within the grounds of the academy.
Leon finds solace in the form of Olivia, who is one of the protagonists of the game, but she is destined to marry one of the game’s love interests.
Thus, Leon tries to grasp the scenarios and assess his options for navigating through them, only to be greeted with another impediment with the arrival of a new student who is manipulating the gaming world for her gain.
Leon must use his knowledge and skills to conquer duels, survive through dungeons and tea parties, to make it out of this fantasy dating world alive.
What Happened at the End of Trapped in a Dating Sim Season 1?
The finale of season one pitted our protagonist against his most formidable opponent yet, the Veteran armored pilot and the knight of the Fanoss providence, Sir Vandel. The single combat duel between Leon and Vandel sees the fate of the two realms hanging in the balance.
The battle ends with Leon winning the duel by the skin of his teeth, and Leon spares his rival’s life, but not before being warned by Vandel about showing his defeated enemies mercy would come back to haunt him in his future.
Leon insists Chris to accept credit for the triumph to be reinstated as his family’s heir. Days later, the love interests construct a new armor, piloted by Greg, to challenge Leon for a round two and get him to cease interfering with their relationships with Marie. But as Luxion analyzes the armor, it was so defective that it would result in Greg’s death.

Thus, to save his life, Leon destroys the armor to rescue Greg and, in turn, win the duel. Leon earns the distinguished Service medal and promotion to Viscount, which infuriates Leon as his dream of leading an idyllic life strays farther away.
