When Is All Out Season 2 Coming Out? (Release Date)

The last episode of this popular series was released in March 2017. Since then, the channel has become entirely mum about the release of any sequel. All Out Season 2 is not in the making if rumours have to be believed.

The show’s mixed responses from the audience have left the makers needing clarification regarding whether there would be any sequel. Let us see in the following years if any information is released.

All Out Season 2 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?

It is the day of the prestigious Jinko High ceremony, where students with vastly differentiated and contrasting personalities get to interact with one another.

One example of the two polar opposite personalities meeting for the first time is Gion Kenji, a small boy with terrible anger issues and Iwashimizu Sumiaki, a giant but soft and timid boy.

They both get into a massive fight on the first meeting, each trying to overpower the other. However, with time, they become amicable with each other.

The scene then shifts to Jinko’s rugby practice. Gion badly wants to be a part of the team as he feels his game skills and physique can significantly contribute. He is confident enough to feel that he can be the unbeatable player of the team if he gets an opportunity to be a part of the group.

Iwashimizu, on the other hand, wants to be as far as possible from this mess. His tragic past still haunts him and doesn’t let him be a part of any group.

All Out Season 2 plot

Gion drags Iwashimizu into the practice but doesn’t force him to be a part of the group, keeping in mind the latter’s scepticism to join the group.

However, seeing Gion’s excitement and active participation in the team, even Iwashimizu decides to join the players. He couldn’t stop himself from the ground.

Gion eventually learns that Iwashimizu was once a promising team player in rugby when he was in junior school. However, during one of his games, he, by mistake, hit his friend Miyuki Atsushi.

Since then, going to the playground and being a part of the game again was something new I did not want. However, as he eventually joined the team, he couldn’t stop improving his game in every way.

The team’s collaborative efforts and perfect skills made them quite efficient very soon, and they eventually got a chance to face their most worthy opponent, Keijo High.

What Happened at the End of All Out Season 1?

All Out Season 1 ended with the team’s failure against Ryoin Academy as the Academy brought their best team player on the field, Zanba Ryujin. The players, instead of getting wholly demotivated, took things in their stride, realising where they went wrong and where they could improve.

Returning, they made new strategies by appointing a new coach and starting with fresh training. The rest is up for All Out Season 2. However, whether the sequel will happen or not is up for debate.

What Can We Expect from All Out Season 2?

The manga on which the anime is based ended only three years back in 2020. Considering the anime’s ending in 2017, most of the manga remains for the makers to show in All Out Season 2. Plot or content has never been the problem.

Also, All Out Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger where the team players got “all out”, losing the competition. The manga showed what happened next, but the anime must finish this narrative.

Therefore, subsequent changes in the team’s playing strategy, the players reflecting on their flaws, new tactics or maybe new players, many new elements could be added, enhanced or removed from a sequel, if and when it happens.

Should The Audience Spend Time Watching All Out?

All Out Season 1 received mixed reviews and, unfortunately, more negative ones, as discussed in this article. Although reviews are pretty subjective, and the audience needs to find whether they like the series, keeping in mind the slack the show received, a bias would always be created in their minds.

However, the audience must watch and find out for themselves whether they find the anime worth their time. Therefore, it is safe to suggest that they read the manga before watching the anime so that at least if they are disappointed watching the show, reading the manga would have a cathartic effect on them.
