When Is Suburræterna Season 2 Coming Out? (Release Date)
Netflix has not officially announced Suburræterna season 2 yet. However, the way it encapsulates the audience with its twisted plotlines, season 2 seems not quite far.
Season 1 just came out in November 2023 so there is hardly any news of a renewal. Creators might want to go through the ratings and reviews to visualise a clear plan for season 2.

Storyline Suburræterna Season 2: What it able to be about?
As mentioned earlier, Suburræterna, the series follows the incident after the series ending of Suburra: Blood on Rome. The series is based on the neo-noir film Suburra, adapted from the novel by Carlo Bonini and Giancarlo de Cataldo.
All of them deal with the true events of crime and politics in Rome from 2011 known as Mafia Capitale. The series takes us to the fallen city of Rome. The enraged citizens protested on the street against the government, setting fire to the city square.
Mafia lord Cinaglia is trying to take up the legacy of Samurai. Both Cinaglia and Badali, backed by the gang Anacletis, continue their criminal affairs in the city. The series centres around the square of Ostia.
Likewise, other parties don’t accept the criminal affairs of the previous section. Ercole, the grandson of another mafia boss Vito, becomes a mayoral candidate to ascend in power. At this moment, the show introduced the fishermen group Lucianis in connection with the Anacletis member and Spadino’s ex-wife Angelica.
Damian from the Lucianis married Angelica and came under the control of Anacletis. Damian’s siblings were against it because they were long-time enemies of Anacletis. They planned to destroy Anacletis, not considering Damian’s loss of wife and children.
Cinaglia tried to build a Colosseum for the citizens who were rioting over the land crisis. Ercole on the other hand opposes this becoming enemy. He allied with Lucianis to bring down Anacletis. Ercole promised to solve issues around Ostia.
Spadino returns to Rome after the tragic loss in the previous season. He is now in conflict whether to participate in combat again or not.
What will be going to Happen in Suburræterna Season 2 with Expectations and Spoilers?
As per the plan, Lucianis attacked Anacletis. Angelica supported their plan. However, Angeletis’s leader and matriarch Adelaide was killed in that attack. Lucianis also attacked Cinaldia and Badali but Badali couldn’t survive.
Spadino returns after the news of his mother’s death. Spadino was hesitant to take revenge as he had to indulge in bloodshed once again. However, Cinaglia convinced him to take revenge on Angeletis.
However, later in the episodes, they had a misunderstanding. Spadino later realised Cinaglia was not betraying. Spadino wanted to leave Rome again but Victor convinced him to reconsider.
At the end of season 1, Spadino becomes the leader of Anacletis. He will use his authority to seek revenge on everyone.
Ercole, on the other hand, had betrayed his ally. Now he is the target of both Anacletis and Lucianis.
If season 2 is confirmed, we expect to see Spadino with the power in his hand ready to take revenge on the mastermind Ercole and of course Lucianis. Hopefully, Suburræterna season 2 will bring more thrill and a satisfying ending.

What Happened at the end of Suburræterna Season 1?
Suburræterna Season 1 has a very twisted ending that no one expected. Ercole went all over to secure his position. From the initial episodes, we see his friendship with the pope Tronto.
Ercole was able to manipulate Spadino against his ally Cinaglia. But resolved their issue but it was too late. Ercole signed a document with Pope Tronto ensuring the Church donation under his name. He will now invest it in the stadium construction.
Moreover, Ercole betrayed the Lucianos. He even ordered an attack on them while they faced great damage. Ercole, the mastermind, is now in a powerful position where Cinaglia can’t even fight him.

Neither Netflix nor the production company Cattleya has responded to the renewal of season 2. However, with such an abrupt ending, the show must come back. Audiences are keeping their eyes peeled on the internet.
