The suspense three-part drama The Tower season 1 ends with leaving us fans desperate for more. The Tower season 1, episode 3 marks the first season’s conclusion and is packed with intense suspense, high stakes, shocking revelations and drama!
The final episode begins with Lizzie, the newbie Cop who witnessed the deaths of the veteran Cop Mathew and teenage girl Farah from falling off the Tower finally decides to turn herself in for interrogation; however, before she can do so, she’s stopped by Shaw (A superior) who’s also a married man having an affair with her(Lizzie).
Shaw tells her not to reveal the truth about the recording on Farah’s phone, which is key proof of what happened at the Tower that day; Matthew ( the veteran Cop) said very crude and racist verbal abuse to Farah and the kids, which Farah ended up recording and thus angered Matthew who was worried about the words leaking out as him losing his job, Shaw decided to hide the truth and instructs Lizze to construct her statements while answering Sarah’s interrogation as the only way to save herself and him too.
Sarah is frustrated as she realised Shaw had trained her not to reveal the true incident, but she can’t do anything; she confronts Shaw later with a search warrant and tells him that she knows about his and Lizzies affair, which is overhead by Shaw’s wife! At the end of the season, we see all the characters at Matthews’s funeral.
Lizze promises to prove to Sarah that she will be a good Cop. Sarah responds sarcastically, thinking that Shaw’s team members don’t realise how deceptive their superior is, and she’s more determined to find the untold truth sooner or later. In the last scene, we see Shaw’s wife holding Farah’s phone with a grim expression. What will happen next? Will she give this evidence to Sarah, or would things end up buried forever?
