A place of solace for numerous actors and performers, Veludo Way is visited by Izumi Tachibana, who arrives at the venue after receiving a mysterious letter informing her about the Manaki Company, which was a prevalent theatre group directed by Izumi’s father.
Tachibana arrives at the venue in hopes of finding her father but, in turn, is only met with the Yakuza, who are looking to tear the place down due to the massive debt it has collected.
Izumi, however, convinces the Yakuza’s loan sharks to spare the theatre company. The loan sharks hesitantly agree to give the Manaki Company another chance to prove its worth.
Still, only under the following conditions: First of which specifies that Izumi must direct and put up a successful show which could pull viewers back to the theatre and bring the company back to its glory days but has to be produced within the following month, secondly it stated the four all-male sub-troupes must be reinstated. Lastly, the amount of debt must be cleared within a year.
Without haste, Izumi searches for five capable actors to pull this unfeasible work off. After accomplishing that feat, she must persevere with her selected companions to gather together the theatre’s other seasonally designated sub-troupes with the ultimate objective of restoring the company’s former brilliance and earning enough money to pay off its debt and secure its survival.
