I liked The Lincoln Lawyer more than I expected to. I never read the books this was based on, but I saw the Matthew McConaughey movie and thought it was good but not good enough for a series.
This would be a cheap way to get money. I couldn’t have done anything more wrong. Even more, than the movie, I liked it. I wasn’t going to watch it until I heard how good it was and saw that it was one of the most-watched shows on Netflix this year.
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo does a great job as the lead character, and Becky Newton, Neve Campbell, Angus Sampson, and others all do great work in supporting roles. It would be best to watch it even though it’s not the best lawyer show you’ll ever see.
