What happened at the end of Season 2?
Since the second season is still airing, we only know a little, but all knowledge that I have is from the official website of HGTV. Dave and Jenny will finish renovating a house of a generous family, and Erin and Ben will finish renovating the park. After which, the season will end with the sixth episode, released on 9 June.
Throughout this season, as we know the team is renovating the town of Fort Morgan in Colorado, we notice many of the challenges they have faced and how they overcame them as a team. This season was more challenging than the first because it brought them many new perspectives and barriers.

The series goes about as the couple takes over projects to renovate the old towns and build better homes that are safer and more protected. The entire series follows the journey of Ben and Erin Napier, who, with the help of a team, go about repairing the damaged places and building better livable areas for the people according to the latest trends.
The team shares their experiences through live television, where they all talk about how they are going about the projects and why they need renovation. It is enthralling to watch the series and the minute details of how they go about their business without much hassle and how easy it is for them to go about it.
It is also an excellent way in which they tackle the problems. It keeps you glued to your seats to know what happened next and how they solved the problems. It’s about the dedication and the determination they put into those projects to make them work.
In season one, they rebuilt Wetumpka, Alaska, because the city was more than welcome to let them enhance the town. In the second season, they all move forward to change Fort Morgan in Colorado.

IMDb gives it 8/10, which speaks for itself. People have a great interest in watching something break and rebuild. It can be connected psychologically or seen as a simple way of keeping oneself engaged. Either way, the series’ ratings are good but have yet to be very popular. So it is sure to blow up.
Home Town Takeover Season 3 Review
I adored the first season of this show, the only ones currently displayed in the episodes list, but the second season is mailing it in, with few HGTV “stars” and little substance.
The prairie garden “maze” is an excellent illustration. While it honors the area’s character, I cannot imagine anyone congregating there, especially young people. And the “windchimes” are just tacky pieces of wood suspended too low on a clothesline that resembles the one used by my grandmother.
The bowling alley has undergone the most noticeable transformation, with new paint, the addition of outdoor space, and an art installation by a local artist. While the outdoor space is pleasant, it will be unusable for more than half the year due to inclement weather, and it will become tedious to bring items inside every night to protect them from weather damage, loss, or theft.
The family residence is beautiful from the street, but with a pergola or other covering, the outdoor space and hanging garden will be usable for half the year. There needs to be more accommodation for a family of seven, despite the pleasant appearance of the interior space, which could be more varied, impersonal, and reflective of the occupants.

I loved the series. It was engaging, and I loved how real it all was. None of it seemed like it was staged. The best part was that they were helping people build better homes. Their efforts and hard work seemed so natural that I rated the series as one of my favorites. Watching it with tea on a rainy day is aesthetically pleasing and calming.
Fans loved it too. Although the series hasn’t blown up yet, allow for sure is that many of the fans have shown their interest in the series and have loved it. Their expectations were met because of all the drama we got served and the process of renovation that we saw in the journey of Ben and Erin.
Conclusion
This series is impressive. After watching those people on YouTube build little homes and pools in the middle of a jungle, this is the next closest thing to something similar and just as aesthetically pleasing as the other videos.
Quarantine made me a fan of such things, where I watch things breaking and being rebuilt. And many other people would love this series; they are not aware of it as well. The hometown takeover would have been a real hit series with better marketing.
