What Happened at the End of The Cello Part 1?
The Cello is a Saudi Arabian film based on a novel written by Turki Al Alshikh. It is about a possessed Cello whose owner is the devil himself. He wants the main character, Nasser, to play his sonnet perfectly.
Once he is done playing it, two possibilities can happen: a) He saves his family from the wrath of the devil, or b) he makes his family members kill each other. Here is a bit of background on Nasser Latif: He is an accomplished Saudi cellist. But due to his mother Haya’s sickness, he has to stop pursuing his passion and separate from his potential lover.

Moreover, he feels held back by his old, out-of-tune instrument. Everything changes when he meets a mysterious shopkeeper, played by Tobin Bell, who hands him a card and gives him a too-good-to-be-true offer on a new Cello.
Nasser, with the money gifted by his mother, buys the beautiful red Cello, and that’s when the horror begins. Like all horror movies, our protagonist gets to know the history and the rules of owning the devil’s Cello a bit too late.
What happens when Nasser plays the Cello, you ask? Well, whoever listens to him play the Cello goes into a murderous fit and kills anyone around the listener.
