The Season 1 of the Alrawabi School For Girls takes us to the fictitious school of Alrawabi and shows us what a “villainous friendship “ is! The show starts with Mariam, who has now been rushed to the hospital after she was bullied by other girls in the school.
The story furthers, and now we see a rebel Mariam wishing to seek revenge from her wrongdoers. Together with her friends she plans a series of revenge attacks on the so called “villains” of the show.
Season 1 concludes with an “open-end”, which significantly indicates the renewal of a second season! The last episode shows Mariam desperate to tell Hazem, Layan’s brother about Layan and Laith’s relationship, and that the couple has been out since to spend time together at Laith’s farmhouse.
Although Mariam has been warned by her friends and Rania to not disclose the matter to Hazem, Marian was desperate to seek revenge on Layan.
When heard of her sister’s whereabouts, Hazem rushes to Laith’s farmhouse only to find out her sister and her boyfriend drying out their clothes outside. Layan begs her brother to keep the gun aside, and tries to convince him that nothing has “happened” between the duo.
The show ends with a cliff-hanger when sound of gunshot was heard outside that of Liath’s farmhouse, leaving the audience curious to learn what happens next!
Is Layan really the villain? There are many instances in the show where we find Layan taking care of her friends, especially Ruqqaiya.
