What Is The Storyline Of Summer Camp Island Series?
Summer Capm Island is an American kid’s animated show that focuses on two best friends who have their own differences but still stick together in a weird but enjoyable sleepover. The main protagonists of the story, as mentioned, are the duo of Oscar Peltzer, an elephant, and Hedgehog, a hedgehog.
Oscar and Hedgehog have been friends since childhood and have stuck together since then. Oscar is a socially awkward elephant who gets uncomfortable in strange surroundings. Hedgehog is the cutest and more confident of the two.
She is always trying to get Oscar to try new things by encouraging him. One day, both of them are dopped off at a magical sleepover where all types of “people” are there. As weird as it gets, the camp counselors are witch girls; in addition to that, there were taliking yetis, sharks, monsters found under beds, and horses who can transform into unicorns.
As Oscar and Hedgehog are left on this sleepover, they will have to enjoy themselves and learn new things while dealing with all the other people who try to tease them.

But due to some problems, the magic trick goes wrong, and she ends up asking Oscar and Hedgehog’s help to solve her problem. Hedgehog and Oscar are then shown some problems with their family when they disapprove of the use of magic.
We also saw Oscar and Ramona go to the moon to run some errands, which was quite enjoyable to watch. In season 6, we are also shown Susie’s younger sister, who is the most powerful witch. Despite Susie asking for Oscar and Hedgehog’s help again and again, she was still a bit arrogant, even when she told her story of world travel.
But things again go wrong for her, when she stands to fight an impossible tornado without any magical ability. The season ends with everyone waiting for magic to return to them while Time pays a visit to Susie.

When I saw the commercials for Summer Camp Island I thought it was just going to be another dumb cartoon that will be cancelled with a short life-span but when there was nothing else to watch on Cartoon Network I decided to give it a try. It’s very charming and colorful (the humour is about a 3.5 out of 5 for me).
It really gives you an ‘Adventure Time’ and ‘Over The Garden Wall’ vibe. It’s very original and I hope a lot more seasons are to come. My favourite episode I would recommend to anyone would be ‘Pepper’s Blanket Is Missing’.
