Radiant was last aired in 2020 with its second season during the start of the COVID pandemic and fans are still awaiting any news that confirms the return of Radiant season 3.
For people who do not know about the origin of Radiant- it was originally adapted from a French comic. Radiant is the first ever Manfra (Manfra are French comics that draw inspiration from Japanese manga or manhwas) to be published in Japan.

When is Radiant Season 3 coming out?
The studio house, Lerche, hasn’t officially announced the return of season three of Radiant. Seems like the decision to cancel or continue the show hasn’t been concluded or decided upon yet, thus making the possibility of Radiant season 3 uncertain.
This being said, the season three release date and time hasn’t been officially announced. And there are discussions online (especially on Reddit) stating that there is no content left or plot to be covered with arcs to be explored more after season two.

Storyline of Radiant: What it able to be about?
The story revolves around a 15-year-old teenager, Seth who lives in a world where creatures called Nemeses, drop down from the sky. A person becomes cursed or gains a special ability to use ‘Fantasia’ magic if such a person survives an attack made by Nemeses.
They turn into Sorcerers. Seth became a sorcerer ten years back when he survived an attack from a Nemeses. He has grown two small horns as the mark of his curse. The anime is about the journey of Seth where he goes on to discover the homeworld of Nemeses, being Radiant and helping in prevailing justice.
With rising tensions between Sorcerers and humans around the world, Seth works on bringing harmony between the two with all his might. This anime adapted from a French comic is illustrated and written by Tony Valente.
What happened at the end of Radiant Season 2?
Nemeses creatures descend from the sky in the world of Pompous Hills, and they dominate the world making them the leaders of that world. The creatures attack people of that world, and whoever survives the attack is cursed and also gets to gain a special ability to use the Fantasia magic.
The creatures are dirty, filthy and dangerous making the people run for cover and any person who crosses gets attacked or assaulted by Nemeses.
Seth, a teenage boy gets attacked by one such Nemesis and to show that he is cursed, he grows small little horns. The show revolves around Seth and follows his journey of trying to find peace and harmony in his world by defeating the Nemesis.
The cursed people are called Sorcerers and they become a different species other than humans. All over the globe, issues and problems are rising between humans and sorcerers and on seeing this, Seth works towards bringing harmony between them as well.
There is also another group that is working to abolish sorcerers, known as the Inquisition. Seth moves forward with his journey to locate Radiant, the origin place of Nemesis and if he kills it or demolishes it, the elimination of Nemesis is possible.
He and his other sorcerer friends stay away from Inquisitions and work on getting rid of Radiant to achieve the peace they all are dreaming about. Season 1 ended with Seth discovering the growth of a dark force within him.

Season 2 had Seth getting involved in the internal affairs of the Caislean Merlin, which is the native country of Ocoho. Ocoho is a determined person who wishes to become a sorcerer-queen to her place and vows to protect the people of the place, fighting multiple battles and hurdles along the way.
While Mélie is left to deal with her split-personality curse, she overcomes different hurdles to reach her own goals. Seth and his new friends explore Caislean Merlin and befriend Ocoho.
Seth learns new information about his curse and his horns, which is the root of Nemesis, which turns out to be the enigmatic Radiant. With multiple battles and combats between Sorcerers and other enemies, season 2 had an overall concluding finish to the plot of Radiant.
