Both are 1986 albums. Flesh & Blood was their best-selling and third multi-platinum album. In the 1990s, after the band’s debut live album, Swallow This Live, there were many lineup changes and the rise of grunge. Native Tongue, the band’s fourth studio album, was certified gold, while Greatest Hits: 1986–1996 received double platinum.
In 1999, the band’s original lineup was reassembled to perform live. The band released Crack a Smile… and More!, then Power to the People. In 2006, the band released The Best of Poison: 20 Years of Rock. The album and tour helped Poison return to Billboard’s top 20 for the first time since 1993. 2002 brought Hollyweird. Band members have been on reality TV shows and recorded solo albums. The band still records and tours after 30 years. They’ve released seven studio albums, four live albums, five compilation albums, and 28 singles since 1986. They topped VH1’s 2012 list of the “Top 5 ’80s Hair Bands.”
