When is Poacher Season 2 coming out?
Poachers Season 1, a crime drama series originally in the Malayalam language, is expected to get a second season by next year. Poachers Season 1 was released on February 23, 2024, and Alia Bhatt is one of the executive producers of this show.

Storyline of Poacher: What is it able to be about?
So the plot of this show revolves around the beautiful elephants of the Indian jungles and their main enemy, not the predator like lion or tiger but one of the most powerful of all mammals out there, the humans.
Yes, there is an underground ivory poaching racket in which big names are involved. As a result, for the longest time, no one has been able to protest against them or take a stand for the elephants.
But as we see, there are some respectable and diligent Indian Forest Service Officers with hardworking NGO workers, police constables and good samaritans who save the day for the elephants by tracking down the location and business of these ivory poaching organizations.
These people work day in and day out just so that elephants can live their lives in peace and not be afraid of getting killed because of their tusks.
What happened at the end of Poacher Season 1?
Raaz was the man behind the illegal poaching rackets. His business was handled by Ravi Don, who dealt with the clients, and art dealer Poonam Verma was one of Raaz’s main clients who paid for 75 kg of ivory.
Neel, the field director, teams up with Mala, and Mala asks Alan Joseph to keep an eye on the call logs of the poachers. It is found that international criminal gangs like the Triads and Yakuza might be involved in the ivory business.
It turns out Mala wanted to catch the poachers because her dad was once an illegal poacher himself, and she tried to break the cycle. Through Morris Finn, a suspect and a close friend of Raaz, the police are able to track Raaz’s location.
At the scene, the police found Raaz’s sister and mistress. The mistress tried to mislead the police about Raaz’s actual whereabouts; however, through Shyam Raaz’s nephew, it was revealed that he was in Magdu and would be taking the Sagar Express to meet his daughter.
At Magdu in Mani’s estate, where Raaz previously used to work as a plantation farmer, Raaz’s dead body was found hanging from a tree. A suicide note was found, which stated that he had killed himself due to mental stress, but Mala didn’t buy it.
She feels that Raaz was dead just so that he couldn’t rat out the real mastermind behind the ivory poaching racket. The police found over 360 kg of ivory in the end. In the end, we see officers staring at a herd of elephants, and Mala promises herself that she will raise her voice for the voiceless animals.

It is clear that though Raaz, the so-called main villain of Season 1, is dead, there is an even more dangerous mastermind who is working hard to keep his identity anonymous.
Mala has promised herself that she would find the person behind the whole race, ket but this task is very challenging. The mastermind can get anyone killed if he thinks that the person is trying to expose him.
The main mastermind can be anyone, but most probably a person in power. Either it is a local MLA, the head of an international gang or worse, a high-ranking officer. The stakes are going to be much higher this time, but our main protagonist, Mala, is going to make sure she brings justice to the voiceless animals.
