Osamake Season 2 Potential Release Date: When’s It on?
A new season has not been officially announced yet by the studio working behind the anime. With the first season coming to an end in 2021, a new season can be expected to be announced later this year since it will be two years since the first one ended. The show revolves around a student who goes by the name of Sueharu Maru. He is a high school student who is yet to experience a serious relationship with someone. But this does not mean he has not been proposed. He was asked out by a friend who lives next door and a friend from when he was a kid, but he denied both and lost a chance at a relationship.
Our protagonist dreams of ending up with only one girl who goes by Shirokusa Kachi. She is one of the prettiest girls in his school and an accomplished author who has also won an award for the same. Kachi is a girl who is not looking for a relationship anytime soon, but she still becomes friends with Maru, making him think he has a shot with her since he is a close friend now.
His dreams of being in a relationship with his crush get stomped on when he discovers that Kachi is already committed to a guy who goes by the name of Mitsuru Abe. Shida, Maru’s childhood friend makes, suggests the idea of getting together in a play pretend relationship to see if Kachi will feel that she deserves to be with Maru instead of her boyfriend.

What Happened At The End Of Osamake Season 1?
The finale of the first season is titled “Childhood Girlfriend.” The season-ending is quite different from how the season started, with Maru being single and never experiencing love and now being stuck n a situation where three other beautiful girls are craving his attention and love.
Maru is stuck in the middle with Momosoka claiming her love for him, while Shida has not asked him out for the second time, but due to him being confused about his love for Momosoka and Kachi, he chooses not to answer her.
To lower the tension and make Maru feel comfortable, Shida ends up popping the question. She confesses her love for Maru and tells him to be open-minded about her feelings and that no matter what happens, they will always remain close friends.
As the episode comes to an end, Maru discovers a fan club has been opened to celebrate him. Maru has negative feelings toward this fan club.
