The Show Creator Melanie Halsall revealed the news to Tudum saying they are truly overwhelmed by the audience’s support and love. Therefore they are renewing the series for season 2.

My Life with the Walter Boys Season 2 Episode 1 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
The story follows Jackie Howard, a 15-year-old girl who lives in Manhattan, New York. She recently lost her family members including a sister in a tragic accident. The poor orphaned girl has nowhere to go.
Soon a woman named Dr. Katherine Walter accepted to be her guardian and took her in. She was her mother’s best friend from her college time at Colorado University. Jackie now has to move to rural Colorado from her urban New York City house.
The Walter family has seven sons and one daughter. Settling into a new place and a new high school, her life was pretty hard at the moment. She only focused on getting admission to her dream college Princeton.
Two of the Walter boys Alex and Cole took an interest in Jackie’s life. The brothers are potential love interests, opposite to each other. Alex is reliable and bookish. Cole on the other hand is troubled and sporty.
While juggling her new life in the new place and a big family, she had to decide her feelings for the two boys. Who will she choose while figuring out life?

Jackie plans a wedding for Will and Hayley in their very own ranch. The wedding in the family gave great relief after a failed attempt to book another building. Jackie’s uncle is also visiting the wedding. The atmosphere was cheerful and everyone was happy.
Alex was a bit tipsy that evening. He wanted to tell Jackie that he was leaving for summer camp but instead confessed his feelings. Jackie left him without saying anything.
That night, Jackie helped Danny pack for his Juilliard and she found her sister’s old possession, a teacup. The teacup was broken and Cole fixed it. He left a note there saying “Nothing is so broken that it can’t be fixed”. The saying her mother always told her.
She runs towards Cole to take on what was the meaning of all his actions. Cole denied everything. He only knows that she is dating Alex.
Jackie was emotionally devastated and kissed Cole. Again a fight between the two brothers ensued.
Alex, coming out of his hangover in the morning, goes to Jackie’s room to bring her breakfast. There he finds her nowhere and her bed is neatly made. He finds a note in her bed saying “I’m sorry- J”. Alex runs into Cole’s room and angrily asks what he did to Jackie. Cole was clueless.
In the next scene, Richard tells Katherine on the phone that Jackie is with him on the way to New York. Season 1 ended here with Jackie leaving everyone tied up in a cliffhanger.
What will be going to happen in Season 2 with expectations and spoilers?
Season 1 of My Life with Walter Boys ended with Jackie leaving for New York, running away undecisive from her romantic emotions. She didn’t choose anybody.
By the last episode of season 1, anyone can assume that Jackie has a feeling for Cole. But she didn’t want to be the reason for the two brother’s fight once again.
Jackie left for New York. It was not easy for that poor girl when Alex also confessed his love that night. But we don’t know if there are other reasons for her to leave for New York. Moreover, what is ahead between Alex and Kiley when she tries to confess to him? We will get to know that next season.
The showrunners quite deviated from the ending of the novel where Jackie and Cole ended up together. In the novel, Alex overhears their conversation when Jackie confesses her feelings towards Cole. Therefore Alex and Jackie ended up as friends.
Author Ali Novak indicated this edition before the sequel news came. She earlier declared there would be no sequel but now that her work is on Netflix, she might or might not start working on it soon.
