Plot of Metallic Rouge Season 2
The plot of Metallic Rouge seems simple but is action-packed. This story focuses on a fictional world where people and AI lie together in harmony.
AI has developed itself in such a way that it can easily blend with human beings. So our main character is ‘Ruju’ or Redstar Rouge. (Yes, based on her name, that is the name of the anime.) She has a best friend who is outgoing and fun, Naomi Orthmann.
They are both on a very important mission to Mars. Their mission? To eliminate nine AI forces called ‘asteroids’ who are hostile to the government.
Will they be able to complete their mission? Or will Ruju and Naomi end up getting eliminated instead? They must work together; with Naomi’s plans and Rouge’s abilities, they must save the government!

Metallic Rouge Season 2: Expected Release date & time?
Metallic Rouge Season 1 is not yet over. Its latest episode is episode 4, “Freedom and Phantoms,” which was released on February 1, 2024. Season 1 is expected to end by the end of March.

What happened at the end of season 1?

The anime starts with Sarah Fitzgerald being attacked by a mysterious person, and this attack is connected to the illicit affairs of Sarah Fitzgerald’s lover, Herman Hayward.
Herman Hayward is involved in the trafficking of Nectar, which is a life-support drug for ‘androids’. Rouge gets informed about Sarah’s past by Naomi, which is very mysterious. In the second episode, Rouge and Naomi are on a desert bus on Mars, which gets attacked by Herman’s men.
They fight and run off into a forest, where they meet a mystery scientist who has been studying the previous inhabitants of Mars and the relationship between Earthlings and aliens. Episode 3 starts with finding Phantom Verde, one of the nine masterminds who have to be killed. Rouge and Naomi find that he lives in Nairn.
Naomi and Rouge argue, and Rouge storms out of the restaurant only to meet Rion and Akhdal. They tell her how the Neens who live in Nairn were once oppressed by humans. They take her to Yubal, the leader of the CFN.
He wants Rouge to be the hope of the people of Nairns. In episode 4, Yubal gets murdered, and Rouge is suspected. She gets detained by the CFN and interrogated by the Dumas.
Naomi helps Rouge escape, and there is a security crackdown. The main suspect, according to our heroines, is Phantom Verde. We will get to know more about what happens once episode 5 is released.
