Storyline of Maestra: Strings of Truth: What is it able to be about?
Maestra Strings of Truth started with a bold premise which may seem similar to that of Secret Affair (2014).
The overall atmosphere, coloring, the sounds used and the stand-out performance of the female lead around whom the story revolves makes you wonder if this is another dramatic musical ensemble that focuses more on the drama and less on music.
But no, you will be surprised to watch the drama as a whole as it brings in a combination of drama, jealousy, competition, success, politics, societal pressures and opinions, in the most beautiful and enigmatic way of representing all the above genres as a whole.
The story revolves around Cha Se-mum (played by the talented Lee Young-ae) who is a former violinist and a master conductor, who is well-known globally for her work in music.
She is a world-renowned conductor of an orchestra- The Hangang Philharmonic and is often admired for many of her students and audiences because of her charismatic and bold personality.
It explores the story of her life, when starts to be the conductor for an orchestra where mysterious incidents happen bringing her close to the truth that she was seeking. It was adapted from a French TV series titled Philharmonia, which depicted the struggles and success of one of the only & best of 5% female conductors in the world.

Story of Maestra Strings of Truth revolves around one of the well-known conductors Cha Sa-eum, being one of the only 5% female conductors in the world. While her exterior is very tough and bold, she harbors secrets of her own.
Her career gets jeopardized when her past and her family issues get out of the closet, making her exposed to the world, despite her esteemed self and achievements.
Her husband having an affair with a member of her orchestra makes things worse for her, but she is not deterred from her goal.
Her insecure husband and a past situation that requires closure loom over her head along with certain other political ploys taking place to bring her down, questioning her method of teaching and strict attitude.
With fewer people to depend on and no one to trust, she finds it hard to sustain her success, as she deals with being more popular and exposed to her own past self and private issues being out in the open.

What will be going to happen in Episodes 11 & 12 with expectations and spoilers?
Episode 10 ended with showing a minor preview and spoiler for the upcoming episode 11 and what to expect from the penultimate episode and the finale episode. Cha Sa-eum’s start at the Hangang Philharmonic was quite shaky and less flexible with the students.
Her tough and domineering method of training made students divided in having her as the conductor for their orchestra. But they eventually came around to admire her for the skills and training she possessed and provided, as their performance has improved and polished compared to earlier.
The drama also showcases her students’ lives and her life gets intertwined with them as well. Cha Sa-mum decides to step down from her position of a conductor after getting diagnosed with Remington’s disease.
The recent stills and previews of episode 11 show the students of the orchestra requesting her to return to the orchestra as their conductor. The members try their best to persuade Sa-mum to return back to the Hanging Philharmonic and perform on the stage with her.
