When Is Maestra Season 2 Coming Out?
Maestra Season 1 is currently airing. Its recently uploaded episode was episode 4. Season 1 of Maestra: Strings of Truth was first released on December 9, 2023. Season 1 will end on January 14, 2024.
If Season 1 can captivate the audience’s heart and there is a demand for a Season 2 then we will get an official announcement by Fall 2024. Although the original series based on which this South Korean show is made has only one episode. Season 2, at this moment, seems highly unlikely.
Storyline of Maestra: What it able to be about?
This story revolves around Cha Se-Eum, played by actress Lee Young-Ae. Se-Eum was a wonderful violinist and knew all the instruments of the orchestra on a deeper level.
She could hear things no one could. She could feel the music like no one could. The instruments seem to speak the truth to her.
However, her past as a violinist is over because now she is a conductor of an orchestra. She is mysterious and everyone seems to speculate the reason behind her career shift. However she pursued her passion boldly and now was one of the best female conductors.
Everyone was envious of her success and things seemed to go smoothly in her life, until… She finds herself surrounded by mysterious incidents happening within her orchestra. Now it is up to her to solve the cases by approaching the truth herself. This drama is a remake of a French drama named Philharmonia.
What happened at the end of Maestra Season 1?
Let’s talk about the recently launched episode of Maestra named Sunflower. This is the fourth episode out of a total of 12 episodes. The episode starts with Se-Eum being a girl boss and congratulating Phil on finally realizing that he wants kids and serving him with divorce papers.
Phil asks A-jin to give him some space and she gets mad at him. Jeong- Jae is getting obsessed with Se- Eum and Han-gil snitches to Jae’s ex-wife Yoo-ra.
We also get to see how toxic Se-Eum and her mother’s relationship is. Se-Eum’s father tries to persuade her to meet her mother while her mother feels she should have killed her daughter.
There is a moment of jealousy shown by A-jin when Se-Eum’s piece called Sunflower which was created in collaboration with Phil gets famous and the show is a success. After the concert, A-jin’s car gets in an accident with Se-Eum’s car which breaks Se-Eum’s arm and A-jin has only minor injuries.
Jeong-Jae picks a fight with Phil and blames him for Se-Eum’s condition. We later find out that See-Eum has a 50% chance of getting Remington’s disease and Jeong Jae knows about it.
A police investigation ensues to investigate the accident only to find out that A-jin’s brakes were cut and Se-Eum is investigated. The episode ends with a wonderful performance by Se-Eum and her getting confronted backstage by Jeong Jae about her disease.

What will be going to happen in Season 2 with expectations and spoilers?
Maestra Season 1 is not yet fully released so predicting Season 2 seems quite absurd without knowing Season 1’s ending. So let’s talk about Season 1’s upcoming episode and Episode 5’s plot.
Se-Eum cannot hide anymore. She is finally confronted by Jeong Jae about her disease and she has to spill the beans unless someone interrupts them. Who cut the brakes of A-jin’s car is still a mystery so that needs to be solved.
Also, Phil needs to calm down and have a chat with A-jin without interruptions and misunderstandings. Jeong- Jae and Se-Eum are definitely getting close and maybe Yoo-ra will have a problem with it.
