Storyline of Knight flower: What is it able to be about?
The plot revolves around Jo Yeo-Hwa (starring Honey Lee of One The Woman) who has been a widow for 15 years and resides with her in-laws who belong to a noble family of higher class.
She is often accompanied by her helper, Lee Yeon-Sun during the day, who helps her with the dutiful tasks that are required of a daughter-in-law.
But Yeo-Hwa has a secret identity that gets revealed at night, as she jumps off the wall of her area to help people in need. Often disguised in a black outfit and veil covering her face, her identity remains hidden.
She gets entangled with Park Soo-ho (starring Lee Jong -won of The Golden Spoon) who is an uptight and honest senior officer of the area in Joseon. Their paths cross as they meet each other while she is in her disguise and he finds her to be the daughter-in-law of the left state council member.
Park Yoon-hak (starring Lee Ki-Woo of Flower Boy Ramyun Shop) who is the third rank royal secretary and one of the most trusted allies of the King, is the older brother of Soo-ho.
Seok Ji-sung (starring Kim Sang-Joong) is the father-in-law of Yeo-Hwa who is shown to be fond of her since her marriage to his son and have always encourage her to to things that she liked.
The plot works on how Yeo-hwa protects her secret identity from her in-laws and also the people in the area without revealing her real identity.
Her skills in martial arts and swordship was taught to her by her brother and she aspires to be someone like him, who is skilled in warship and combat skills. She, with her skills and kind heart help people in need during her night adventures.
What happened at the end of Knight Flower Season 1?
Pil-Jik was often seen as the villainous character since the beginning, but episode 11 & 12 of season one made heads turn in shock as we got to get a closure to the mystery of 15 years surrounding our lead protagonist, Yeo-Hwa.
The finale episodes starts off with Yeo-hwa showing her interest in Soo-ho whereas Pil-jik informs Lord Seok about Soo-ho. As the earlier episodes showcased, Yeo-Hwa chose to stay with her in-laws and in the same precinct of Joseon as she is awaiting her brother’s return.
We also got to know that Lord Seok and Pul-Jik are partners-in-crime for doing illegal activities like child trafficking and murders of officials surrounding the previous King.
The present King along with Yoon-hak work on discovering the murder of the late King, one of his guards (apparently Yeo-hwa’s brother) and the head of the guards team of the King (Soo-ho’s father).
After the King discovers Yeo-hwa’s connection with Sung-hoo (Yeo-hwa’s brother), he understands why Lord Seok has asked her hand for marriage to her son, as Seok must have deducted that Sung-hoo is in possession of the late King’s Jade tablet and his last royal edict.
While Pil-Jik comes closer to u esrthening the connection between Soon-ho and the late head guard, we also get to know about the apparent death of Sung-hoo in the hands of Pil-Jik ordered by Lord Seok.
With multiple murders, past discoveries and mysteries being opened and discussed, the antagonists of the drama get perplexed and find ways to put a stop to the leads trying to seek the truth to their loved ones murder.
The seemingly dead son of Lord Seok, Joo Yo-Seob is apparently alive and he comes back to his family after he ran away with a foreigner. His father ordered to leave the place and his family, so as to not dishonour his reputation.
Yoon-hak, Soo-ho and Yeo-Hwa work together in keeping their secrets and in discovering about the issues taking place around them and in their lives. Pil-jik, in a turn of events to blackmail Soo-ho and capture the masked hero (Yeo-hwa is named as the Masked hero or vigilante for her deeds) gets arrested and the final game falls on Lord Seok.
Lady Oh confesses to poisoning the late King in front of the present King, who has invited the family of Lord Seok for a tea party. And when everything is out in the open, Yeo-hwa discovers her brother’s murder from Pil-jik and she vows for revenge on Lord Seok.
Lord Seok and other members of the council plan to bring down the King from the throne, but instead gets interrupted with their plans by Yeo-hwa who reveals everything about Lord Seok’s evil deeds and also reveals about her masked avatar.
Lord Seok apparently killed the late King as the King wanted to break barriers with regards to the class system of the nation and pave way for the talented lot, without any preference to nepotism or class of family.
Seok gets demoted to a lower class for his past deeds and Pik-Jik gets punished for his life for his crimes. While the antagonists gets punished and the justice is served, Yeo-hwa mentioned her wish to be just ‘Yeo-hwa’ and not anyone’s daughter-in-law or wife or a widow.
So, with the request made in front of the King and consent of Jeong, Yeo-Hwa’s marriage gets annuled and Soo-ho makes it a point to stay with her, despite her status as a divorce or a widow.

What will happen in Season 2 spoilers and expectations?
Season one ended with a time leap where Yeo-hwa returns to the state and resumes her night or moonlighting activities and gets caught by Soon-ho in the process.
So if a season two is confirmed to air, the show can start off with Soon-ho and Yeo-hwa partnering with each other for helping the common people seek justice and form alliances along the way with fellow talented people who work towards common good like Taxi driver.
But we can also expect another format of the show, where there is a new plot with different casts and storyline for season two.
