As the crow flies is the story of protagonist Lale Kivan, an established and reputed journalist who is in the top job of a famous TV channel.
Everyone admires her work and dedication to authentic and genuine news delivery. One such person is Asli, who at first respects Lale and joins the same news channel as an intern. Still, Asli’s ambitious nature soon becomes a danger to Lale as Asli manipulates her way into becoming the PA of Lale with one motive in mind: to take the top job from Lale, even if she has to destroy Lale’s life in the process thoroughly.
Lale soon becomes aware of Asli’s devious and malicious intentions from her former PA. What follows next ends up in a duel of wits and cleverness as they both try to outwit each other. Lale exposes Asli as an over-ambitious person who schemes against her to remove her from the top post.
Everyone takes Asli for a villain and a manipulator as the first season ends with Asli promising revenge on Lale. Lale, tired of the politics & scheming, decides to step down and retire to spend more time with her family after her best friend Muge also betrays her and sides with Asli.
Muge is the owner of the media company, and upon the departure of Lale, she gives her top job to Asli, who struggles with the job due to the fact that she concentrates too much on Lali’s downfall rather than improving her own skills.
Working with the job and recovering her own career, Asli, rather than delivering genuine and authentic news, focused too much on over-dramatization of the report, delivering it in a juicy way without caring for the authenticity of the information.
Asli’s dishonest style of reporting unsettled Lale, who herself is an advocate of honest, well-researched, and authentic reporting. Will Asli’s antics force Lale to restart her career? Will the audience that is now captivated by Asli accept Lale? The plot of the oncoming seasons will answer these questions and many more that are in the minds of audiences.
As The Crow Flies Season 2 Ending Explanation
Asli became famous for her over-dramatized presentation of news and soon was living the life she dreamt of living. She became the judge, jury, and executioner of her show, where she convicted people in front of live audiences without any proof of the authenticity of her claims and accusations.
Things were going great, and it felt like everything was working out perfectly for Asli, with audiences loving her and her reporting. This unsettled Lale and forced her to make a comeback to journalism again. But the viewers, who had taken a liking to Asli, didn’t accept Lale back.
Till Asli did something that no one thought of; in an interview with a young influence, Asli degraded her for being anti-feminist. This shocked the influencer so much that it was reported that she committed suicide.
The viewers, shocked by the news, blamed Asle’s scathing remarks and accusations to be the cause of the suicide of the youngster. But the truth was that the influencer hadn’t committed suicide but had a vicious case of food poisoning, which was made clear by Lale.
Now, viewers have started shifting toward Lale’s show, which has made Asli jealous of her again. Eventually, it is revealed that Asli’s assistant Nazli starts posting negative comments and false rumors about her.
When Asli confronts Nazli, Nazli throws hot coffee on herself and accuses Asli of assaulting her. Asli eventually gets entangled in legal matters as police action is taken against her.
Lale believed that Asli was innocent, and even with a bitter past, she wanted to support Asli and asked her attorney to take the case of Asli. Following the fiasco, Guliz, the owner of the company, asks Asli to step down and gives Yusuf, a talented young reporter, the top post on Lale’s recommendation.
Season 2 ends with an intimate video of Lale and Erne being leaked in public.

There are a lot of possibilities to be explored; maybe it was Muge back to haunt Lale, maybe Guliz who seemed hurt by the fact that despite her insistence, Lale did not join the show before and decided to start something from her own.
