When Is Ao no Exorcist Season 4 Coming Out? (Release Date)
Ao No Exorcist has returned to the screen after a long wait of six years. With each season taking a six year gap, considering the season 2 released in 2017 after its initial release of season 1 in 2011, season 4 could be expected after a six year gap, maybe around 2028-2029.

Storyline of Ao no Exorcist Season 4: What it able to be about?
Ao No Exorcist, also titled the Blue Exorcist, is a manga adaptation of the same name. It is a dark fantasy series illustrated by Kazue Kato, since the beginning of its release.
The story revolves around a teenager, Rin Okumura who comes to discover that he is the son of Satan. He and his twin brother, Yukio are both the offsprings of Satan, born from a human mother and possessing Satanic powers.
The plot picks up it’s pace when Rin decided to defeat Satan, and work on different methods to reach his goal. He enrolls himself under Yukio’s tutelage in True Cross Academy, after Satan kills the guardian of the twins. Rin vouches to become an exorcist powerful enough to defeat the Satan.
What is going to happen in Season 4 with expectation and Spoiler
As season 3 is yet to finish its run, it’s impossible to ascertain any possible spoilers or assumptions regarding season 4.
The ending of Season 3 could determine the start of season 4, but with season 3 having its release only in January 2024, it’s hard to determine the end plot of season 3. So fans are expected to wait for season 4 and its spoilers.

What happened at the end of Blue Exorcist Season 3
Season 3 is expected to revolve around the True Cross Academy and their students. The discovery of a mole or a spy among them for the titular sinister organisation is going to turn heads.
With episode 1 and 2 completing its air, season 3 aired episode 3 on January 21, 2024 and yet to complete it full run. So it is not possible to estimate the end of season 3 and the plot covered in season 3 so far.
Ao no Exorcist Episode 3 of Season 3 Recap
The episode starts with Lewin Light contemplating about moles. He also hints on a possibility of the presence of multiple moles among the Knights, and asks Shura to look for the same.
Based on his theories, there is a spy in Japan branch and two spies in The Vatican. The episode then turns to show the students working on preparing for the popular school festival in True Cross Academy.
Both Rin Okumura and Shima Renzo try to persuade girls at the school to participate in the dance with them by becoming their dance partners.
But are met with denial and disappointment as no one agrees. While Izumo, Konekomaru and Bon work on preparing for their Exorcist exam, Rin and Renzo try to pursue Paku for the dance, but gets turned down as she was already asked by a senior.
When he and his friends get to know that Shiemi has passed the entrance exam to get into the academy, the next day, Rin jumps into the idea of asking her out for the dance. But it turns out that Shiemi wants to ask Yukio for the dance, which he turns down as he has signed himself as a staff for the festival.
Rin feels miserable and dejected about it. It is also seen that Paku reveals to a blond-haired girl about Rin’s dance partner choice which creates an interest for her.
The festival officially starts the next day with Mephisto Pheles declaring the festival to start and it becomes a grand festival.
Rin asks Izumo’s help with a register and she accepts after much thought. Later Rin finds Shiemi in the festival and takes her to where Yukio is present, where they watch an exorcist dance.
Izumo wears the costume that Rin gave her to the festival and on the way she comes across Takara Nemu. Takara reveals a valuable mascot of Kamiki Tsukumo to her, and the episode ended with Izumo asking Takara how he got the item.
