Chained Soldier, originally called Mato Seihei no Slave, is based on a manga by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takamura. Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ online platform is publishing the manga. Yen Press licensed the manga in English.
In the anime, a gate to another dimension called “Mato” has opened in different parts of Japan. It is filled with demonic monsters called “Shuuki” who are a threat to humankind.
The anime starts with Yuuki Wakura, a fresh graduate remembering his sister who went missing for five years, probably in the Mato disaster. However, Yuuki himself somehow enters the mysterious dimension by mistake and traps himself.
On the other hand, a discovery of Mato fruits, “Peaches” brings the solution to kill Shuuki but it is only granted to women. As a result, a new matriarchal government was formed and a female organisation called the Anti-Demon Corps was developed. Men fall lower in the power structure.
Yuuki finds himself in Mato where he is almost attacked by a monster. However, a girl in a military uniform arrived to save him. That girl is Kyouka Uzen, the commander of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-Demon Corps.
She has an unusual superpower in contrast to her peers, making her valued less. Now it is her opportunity to find her true potential to fight with her unusual power. She has to use Yuuki to defeat Shuuki Monster by making him her slave. Yuuki agreed, and they defeated the Shuuki.
In return, for using his body, she now has to reward him, often sexually. Yuuki then joined her squad and promised to help her in her dream of becoming Supreme Commander.
