Sasaki and Peeps is originally based on a light novel by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku on a web novel site Kokuyomu and Shosetsuka no Naro in 2018. The Media Factory’s MF Bunko J is releasing it in print in 2021.
A manga adaptation started in 2021, illustrated by Pureji Osho in Kadokawa Shoten’s Shonen Ace Plus online magazine. It has 3 volumes published as of August 2023. Yen Press publishes both the manga and the light novel in English.
The anime starts with Sasaki’s tired mundane life. The 40-year-old’s corporate life is full of work; nevertheless, it leaves him tired and unfulfilled in life. To fill up his emptiness he goes to a pet shop.
His eyes got fixed on a tiny little Java sparrow. Sasaki brought it to him not knowing that he was going to change his life. The bird revealed that he was a sage from another world.
His name is Piercarlo, and Sasaki named him Peeps. He instantly bestows him with half of his power and sends him to a different realm.
Sasaki with supernatural powers can cross between these two worlds. These two started their cross-world business in the new realm. Regardless of that, he wants to live in peace with these powers. But it is not easy. There are a few people who might get in the way.
Later, he is forcibly recruited by a government agency for psychics by Hoshizaki and now he’s got new missions.
What Happened at the End of Sasaki and Peeps Season 1?
Sasaki and Peeps currently have three episodes aired at the time of writing this article. Sasaki has been recruited by a secret government agency. On the other hand, he helps his way into business in another world.
We expect to see how he juggles this life when his isekai realm causes him trouble in the real world. What the secret government agency is up to that is yet to be known. We hope this will be revealed at the end of season 1.

What Can We Expect from Sasaki and Peeps Season 2?
Sasaki’s path became entangled with Hoshizaki. She thought Sasaki was an incompetent person when he helped her. She works for a secret government agent that manages paranormal creatures. Hoshizaki doubted his magical power and asked him to join the agency while investigating him.
Keeping his magical power a secret in the real world, he joins the new work. On the other world, Sasaki was considered a higher-ranking individual for his magical power and business skills. He was also involved in the political upheaval of the Hertz Kingdom.
His problems don’t end here. Sasaki will also be engaged in the fight between demons and angels and has to deal with aliens and a magical girl who is after him, some monsters, and many more. Furthermore, humans on Earth.
Sasaki and Peeps have more to offer in the further episodes and successively in season 2. While Sasaki wants to have a peaceful life, his enemies list is endless in both worlds. We expect to see him in greater action with swords and magic.
