The series follows Tirso Abantos (Jose Coronado), a former military man who runs a hardware store in one of the poorest neighborhoods of Madrid, Entrevias. Tirso is tired of watching drug dealers and other thugs take over his neighborhood.
When his teenage granddaughter Irene (who was planning to run away with her boyfriend, Nelson) falls victim to the drug dealers, Tirso takes matters into his own hands. The story follows the struggle of a grandfather who had left his active life a long, long time ago to jump into action to save his lost granddaughter.
Will he succeed in his mission? Will just salvaging his granddaughter from the drug dealers solve all the wrongs in the neighborhood?
What Happened at the End of Wrong Side of the Tracks Season 2?
In Wrong Side of the Tracks Season 2, many questions are answered. Guillermo Salgado, a real estate entrepreneur, was buying up all the houses in the neighborhood, primarily those sections that were notorious for housing drug dens.
It was later revealed in an investigation covered by Amanda that the mysterious drug dealer the police had been after- Ghost, was none other than Salgado. On further research, she found out that he had ties with the Aloha Brothel, where young ladies were transported and sexually assaulted, something Irene Tirso’s granddaughter had gone through.
Thus, Salgado became the primary suspect of Irene’s assault. Tirso tries to kill him, but his granddaughter stops him because killing Salgado could lead to Tirso being imprisoned. Just as we think Salgado survived, Amanda shoots him dead.
Amanda had a tragic past caused by Salgado; Salgado had humiliated her recently, as well as the fact that Salgado’s men captured her girlfriend, Jimena. All these reasons pushed her to kill Salgado.
