She is extremely focused and a sponge for knowledge.” The two broke up in August 2017 after dating for less than a year. “They had a good time for a few months, but are now both quite busy with work. Text messages between Heard and Musk were read aloud during a 2020 court session about Heard’s domestic violence complaint against ex-husband Johnny Depp, whom she divorced in 2016. Heard stated in the texts that she desired a restraining order against Depp for an alleged domestic violence incident the previous day. Musk responded by promising to provide her with “24/7” security. “The invitation would stand even if you never desired to see me again,” the text added. In any case, I apologise for being an idiot. The radio silence is quite painful. It’s irrelevant since I adore you.”
Josh Drew—the ex-husband of Heard’s best friend Raquel “Rocky” Pennington, who also lived rent-free in a Depp-owned home—claimed in 2020 that Heard had a threesome during another court hearing with Musk and Cara Delevingne while she was still married to Depp. “Did she ever inform you verbally or in writing while Amber was still married to Johnny Depp that the three of them, Amber Heard, Elon Musk, and Cara Delevingne, spent the night together?” attorney Benjamin Chew inquired. The Sun on Sunday initially reported in September that the duo were growing close while Amber was in London filming a film. “They’ve been spotted at the hotel in droves and are perpetually cheerful and thick as thieves, staying out till the early hours,” a source told the site. They were caught together grabbing coffee in October and leaving Rihanna’s party in December. Despite this, the couple never confirmed their alleged affair.
Johnny Depp (2011 – 2016)
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp met on the set of their 2011 film, The Rum Diary, in 2009. “That moment was, it was, it seemed like something, it felt like something I should not be experiencing,” Depp recounted at a court hearing in 2022 of a shower kissing incident between him and Heard. “I believe there was something genuine about the shower kiss.” In 2011, the two reunited for a promotional tour for The Rum Diary. Depp and Heard began dating following Depp’s 2012 split from Vanessa Paradis. They exchanged vows in 2014. “Of course, they are overjoyed to be engaged and excited to spend the rest of their life together,” a source previously told People. “Amber has taken an immediate liking to the children and genuinely enjoys spending time with them.
